Distant Memory
The fire ceased behind her cries of pain
The lamp of moon lit nights, caressed her soul
The heart she possessed beat rapidly behind her chest
Such a barren land, cold as the death that cursed her soul
The wind slow with anticipation
Once had been a dream, a memory
A warrior with such a tragic end
Now a mere blinding woman
Who sits with fear within her abdomen
What was yet a reality became a dream
A silent pursuit within her heart
Emotions killed her soul slowly without any warning
She'd become a killer
Cold blooded once before
But now twas all a
Distant Memory
