Tell
I’m falling in love with you
Yet I’m unable to tell you!
Maybe, when we meet
For our rendezvous
My eyes would be
Able to tell you ;)
And then with every word
They say…with their
Coquettish glances at you!
They’ll let you know -
How you’ve won over my heart
With the immense love
They fathom in you :)

God Knows Why
It’s been a long time
Her blank calls had
Stopped.
It’s been a long time
Her letters had also
Stopped.
Though left at peace,
He still wondered
Why…
A girl so restless,
Could be so quiet.
Then came a
Telegram:
Her heartbeat
Had stopped.
And all of a sudden,

Beloved
You come
Streaming
Through…
The window
Like the
Morning
Sunlight.
You come
Beaming
Through…
The window
Like the
Evening
Moonlight.
I get bathed
In your light.
Feel so
Pure and

Know It All
Their grandfather
Often asks me…
If my daughter is
Helping me with
My housework…
I always chip in
To say, not only
His grand-daughter,
I'm also making sure
His grand-son learns
Some basic life skills.
For, I don't want my
Daughter to become
A "do it all" and my son
To feign a "know it all" ;)

I Know
I know
That you know
That I know
When you’re thinking of me
I’m thinking of you too!
In these thoughts of ours,
Our feelings seem to ask us:
You love me and I love you.
Is it true? Yes, dear.
We both affirm. It’s all love
We think, we feel, we say.
As, when I’m thinking of you
You’re thinking of me too…

London Streets
Went to
Royal
Albert Hall
To watch
A concert.
The warmth of the
Show
Waned away,
Walking in the
Cold and biting
London streets.
The grandeur of the
Show
Faded away
Seeing the
Poor and homeless
Squatting in those
Dreadfully cold,

All On Your Own
In your
Moments
Of deep
Despair
You'll
Realise
That you are
All on your own
There will be
People near you
Offering you
Some subtle
Words of care
Your pain
They'll be
Willing to
Share…
But their
Benign

Baby
Whenever I see…
A baby in a movie,
I feel like having
Another one.
I already have two.
So what harm can
Another one do?
But then I think
Of the world’s
Seven billion....
And my advancing
Age, and I know
It wouldn’t be
The right thing
To do.
But then, a mother’s
Instinct – you know,
She always wants

Recover
I kept
Telling him
Don't keep
Doing this
To me…
I'll never
Recover.
He didn't
Believe me.
Never, ever
Listened
To me…
Took me
Very lightly.
Thought -
I was wallowing
In self-pity.
Now,

Marriage
Nothing is
Common
Between us
Except the
Bed we share
The children
We rear…
And the home
That houses
Our conjugal
Despair.
Yet we care
As marriage
Is a burden
You need to
Share…
Or
Parents will say:
Don’t you dare!
