I'm Glad Your Alive
I know you don't see
How amazing this life is right now
But that doesn't mean that there isn't any
Tomorrow will be better
Or at least you gotta tell
Yourself that from time to time
It scared me sometimes how
Fragile you can be
Just one word or no words
Can make you feel so unwanted

I don't know why
I can't seem to cope without you
My brain keeps telling me I need you
I sometimes wonder
if I suffered brain damage
From allowing you in my life for so long

Even though it's been years
Since we've been together
But i'm still searching for someone
Who can make my heart

My words used to mean a lot
But they don't mean much anymore

I sit here and wonder why
I can't let anyone inside my heart
My life is so cold and empty these days
Except for the fear
I seem to hold so close to my heart
Nothing interesting ever happened to me
