Depression Hurts

depression hurts the most when you lose one that was near.
it hurts even more when you live in nothing but fear.
you sit there running threw all the bad thoughts in your mind.
its hard to forget it all and leave it behind.

the days start to get worse as you hide away,
you scream at them because they didn't stay.
it gets hard to breath and to stay around.
you walk around looking sad and staring at the ground.

people say things that make things go down hill.
then you go and hide and just sit still.
the pain grows more and more.
it leaves your body, heart, and soul so damn sore.

why does depression have to hurt and make you feel so far.
life is like one big scare.
depression rips you apart
it rips away your heart.
