Broken Rhythm

The Strength of Red

Once I observed a sunset in a cloudy ocean sky,
The colors so vividly transparent through which my spirit smiled in sigh.
Settling ever so peacefully beside the horizon laid a red flare of the oceans sun,
the symbol of which the most fearless soul brightly shines, but yet dims the day done.
The Red reflection ensued somewhat like a mirror, recoiling briskly off my dark and sleepy eyes,
Burning a warm flame around my nerves, filling an internal courage I often deny.
Red is the color of blood, the substance of which brings oxygen to life,
that imaginary color of mental anger boiling the weakness of a crazy mans strife.
The color of red brings tremendous passion, a passion lurking within the seams of a beautiful rose,
Magically warming the love of the recipient gleefully yearning for the whole world to know.
So if red would ensue into the lives of the aesthetic characters of this unforgiving flaw filled earth, it would give rise, courage, and Love to a new fulfilling creative world rebirth.......
