Dont Know

I dont know what to expect anymore
people change like a light bulb
once the light is off
they change into the night

for once in my life
i dont want change
why cant things go back to the way we once knew
is that too much to ask for

Is it because the world wants us to change
or we want to change because we dont like ourselves
but some people dont change

for the ones that know who they are
people respect who they are
the only person that can make yourself
is yourself
