Time To Start Anew With You

Holding on to something
A memory long ago
Holding on to something
Now it’s time to let it go

All these years
Flew by so fast
Reflections in the looking glass
It’s time to start a new
It’s time to a new with you
It’s time to start a new
It’s time to start a new with you

I’ve longed to tell you
But not had the time
I’ve longed to tell you
Now the ink is all but dry

All these years
Flew by so fast

Like Candy On The Tongue

Up on the hill, day after day,
watching the world around him unfold, from his amphitheater on the bay
Sits a leader of the modern world, on a summer holiday
While the world around him struggles, with the problems of the day

Like candy on the tongue, and the hot Mediterranean sun
all the colors will ere long fade away

All round the world, headless and astray
An old Greek tragedy, acts on the world stage, rewritten for new actors, its a laughable play
With an endless budget, a first recipe for delay
While the leader of the modern world, watches sailing boats at play

Like candy on the tongue, and the hot Mediterranean sun
all the colors will ere long fade away

How could they do without him, It's a laughable play
With an endless budget, on summer holiday

Simple things amuse him

You Girl Please (comfort me)

Moonlight pressed upon my pillow
I woke up to find myself alone
I lay down and tried to sleep
But I can’t sleep when I’m alone

You girl please, give me peace
Come and share the night with me
You girl please, comfort me
Truth in love is all I seek

Outside the wind beat loudly
On an aging window pane
Six eight time, a waltz in a heartbeat
Seeing god in each dropp of rain

You girl please, give me peace
Come and share the night with me
You girl please, comfort me
Help me in loves sweet release

Treasure Is An Island

Pyramid on the mountain, three windmills on the bay
School of thought nestled amongst olive trees, sailing boats at play
Voices echo down gentle slopes, clock chimes nine at night
The sun has yet to set, red clouds promise new delight

Ulysses still walks on paradise, neglect has married time
Still blue water, eight skipping stones, the record held is mine
Beauty smiles, they remember her, her laughter is contagious
We share a look, a touch, a meal, her three sons born to save us

Treasure is an island, a jewel on the sea
Summer months of pleasure, Ionian odyssey

Lying naked in the sun, like Katsakouli kids
Tourists come to taste her fruits, some they never leave
All take away a piece of her, all need the gift she gives
Scrapbook memories swim carefree, summer romance by the sea
always you and me
Scrapbook memories heroic thoughts, pleasure and good company

A Woman Stole My Girl With A Line

I’m lost for words to say
Thinking’s tongue tied
Riding the boundaries of despair
With no place to hide

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind

She gave me no hint I’m unfair
Not even a clue
Just a brief note she signed
With a thank you

A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
A woman stole my girl with a line
What changed her mind

Damien

Things are done that I just don't understand
There's hardly no time left for the average young man
Works his arse off 'til his blue in the face
Drugged with hope so he can keep up the pace

And soon he joins the unemployed
Where all hope and ambition are destroyed
Is there any justice left in this world
Is there any justice left in this world

A situation that I don't understand
A desperation that just got out of hand
He didn't realize what steps he should take
He didn't realize that his life was at stake

He left us thinking yet again
Another passing of a friend

Is there any justice left in this world
Is there any justice left in this world

Our Love Story Without End

As the days, roll on into years, one thing remains unchanged
The love I found, when I first met you, has never disappeared
It grows stronger, and gets better, with each year
In our love story without end

One day in December, I came a long, I remember still
You, in your tower on the hill
Wrapped up in gold, like the color of the sun, you shone
Then hid, scared of what was to come
Our love story without end
I took you away, I was handsome, back then
Wrapped you in my arms, as the fog rolled over the shore
So began, our love story without end

And on this day, our anniversary
I recall, all the good times that we shared
And thank you for the joy, you have given me
Thank you for the joy, you have given me

As the days, roll on into years, one thing remains unchanged

Sometimes There's Three

There’s two sides to every story
And sometimes there’s three
You can take a trip around the world
To simply cross the street
I know, ‘cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down
It sometimes helps to laugh

There's two paths on every journey
And sometimes there's three
You can meet your fate on the same road
You took to avoid it
I know, 'cause that's what happened to me

Laugh, laugh
Even the jester has to laugh
When everything turns upside down

Daddy's Got A Woman

Daddy’s got a woman that makes him feel right
Tell mummy I love her and I won’t be home tonight
Daddy’s got a woman that makes him feel right

A man he's got needs, a man's got passions too
A man he's got dreams, that he needs to work through
A man he's got hopes, someday will come true
A man he needs love, the same love he gives to you

Doesn’t matter how many times, I just don’t understand
How the love of a woman, can weave such magic on a man
Here am I with the woman of my dreams
While at home sleeps the woman I need

Daddy’s got a woman that makes him feel right
Tell mummy I love her and I’m coming home tonight
Daddy’s got a woman that makes him feel right

Like The Breeze, Like A Storm

I ain’t easy to live with
Some say it’s bloody hard
My life’s a keyboard
And sometimes a guitar
I’ve lived every note from the heart

Without love, life is empty
Like the clear blue sky, sometimes you need a little rain
Take my heart, take it empty,
Fill it with your love, then give it back again
And in return I’ll touch you like the breeze and ravish you like a storm

I ain’t easy to live with
Some say it’s bloody hard
My life’s a keyboard
And sometimes a guitar
I’ve lived every note from the heart

Without thoughts, you are empty
Like the bird that flies, sometimes you need the earth
