Even Love Can Get Tired
.
We have ran out of words
Surely ran out of time
Shall we now cut the cords?
Our poetry's lost its rhyme.
So sad to say I failed
To fill what you required
The pain has all been nailed
Even Love can get tired.

All Men Are Equal
No color is less human
No race above another
Red, the blood of all men
That's all we must remember.
No higher man above us
On earth we're equal thus
We treat each other as we must
With what is true, what is just.

The Dove
Elusive peace
Flies gently as a dove
It fails to soar
the heights with ease
Like the eagle above.
As vague as a dream uncaught
By the net of our memory
the peace that we had sought
Escapes us all...ever so quickly.

A Life Destroyed By Acid
The news today was morbid
Disturbing and so tragic
A life destroyed by acid
The injustice made me sick.
Her face and body scarred
And her will to live had died
Such cruelty then marred
Her life, the end... Suicide.

Gems
Pride always demands
Kindness always gives
Love understands
And Mercy forgives
Courage moves on
Patience endures
Faith carries on
While Hope secures
Purity is best
Dignity is noble
Peace gives rest
That God is able.

Hate Destroys
Hate destroys
The one that births it
It robs one of joy
and peace, forfeit.
Hate destroys
A chance to forgive
Its claws employs
The heart to grieve.
Hate destroys
The people around
Creates a ploy
As conflict abounds.

Love Her
If in life, you find
The one you cannot live without -
Love Her.
For life is not life if you should lose her.
If the one you found
Has found her life in you -
Love her.
For she will be your joy until your life is over.

Burden Bearer
Shared Joy is double joy,
It keeps on multiplying.
Shared Sorrow is half a sorrow
In time will be decreasing.
Shared Hope is flaming hope
Ignites our inspiration
Shared prayer is sure answer
For God's our Burden Bearer.

In Worship
In worship my heart always sees,
The God of Love,
My God of Peace.
His Spirit fills me in embrace
With endless joy
That does not cease.
In worship God we meet
For in our Praise
With us He dwells
In fellowship so sweet.

You (Septolet Poem)
You
cover me
like Dawn's
misty dew.
I'm refreshed
at the sight
of you.
