Empty Oracle
They, who in lofty pinnacles
Threaten us with devastation
Speak a high but empty oracle
Of Pride and self-confusion.
Their might and power has no famine
An acceptable situation
But these nations crumble within
May be having hallucinations.
For no one from the East or from the West
Nor from high above nor down below
Can cause destruction, lay us to rest
Except the One True God I know.
So am I scared of my country's demise?
With unshakable peace I'm ready to go
But this one question is the surprise
When they die, their outcome, do they know?

Global Conspiracy
The song says
Don't say things you're going to regret
And don't let fire rush to your head
For every single day you find -
(I can read your mind, I can read your mind)
Such lofty pride that rides
I am the Eye in the Sky looking at you
Hollow power inside can't hide
I can change your mind, I can change you too
Now try to park your fears
For the Eye is here, in full time watch
Knowing all your detailed years
Surely your mind it tries to catch.

Are You An Illegal?
An unfortunate thing
Happened to me in Sydney
While doing my shopping
Sans my jewelry
In my faded jeans
And cotton floral shirt
(Oh well, looks could not mean
What a person is worth!)
As I went to a nice shop
There the Chinese local
Quite rudely spoke up
'Are you an illegal? '
Her attitude stunned me
(My hair is black and I'm fat)
My skin is brown, certainly
but nothing to say I was that!

The Death of Innocence
In covert dim light
A nymphet came
To grace his sight
With her small frame
He caught her scent
And closed his eyes
Felt fleeting movements
Soar him high
And as they kissed
He felt the bliss
Of escalating passion
The night was young
And before long
They'll lock
In emptied satisfaction
With deep desire
He yearned to touch
Her captivating youth
Undressing her
He watched

He Died A Hero?
He died a hero
In a war of vague purpose
We really don't know
What it was for, I suppose.
An axis of evil?
A war on Terror-
But assessments reveal
Man's greed and error.
Was it about oil?
Who was the aggressor-
Did we make him recoil
Or were we the oppressor?
So where' s the victory
Where indeed is the end?
Death's the only reality
For the soldiers you send.

The War of Error
Shove Democracy down their throats
Annihilate the race that disagrees
In Saudi brotherhood, make dollar float
What foreign policies are these?
Modern ethnic cleansing in disguise
Power holds the upper hand and aces
Who cares how many more millions die?
Who marks the devastation in their faces?
Controlled charade and Protectionism
Ignore the nations, what 'autonomy'?
You are the movers of expansionism
Through greed, you kill them with sheer Poverty.
What a sham and hollow masquerade!
The war games that you play reveal.
Ooops! What a big mistake you made -
The War of Error was all a pathetic deal.

A Child Like Clay
A child like clay is pliable
Guidance molds him with each day
With right values, he grows up able
To live his life and not go astray.
A child like clay adapts the form
He bends and follows as one leads
To what is true he will conform
Absorbing the wisdom that he needs.
A child like clay when left alone
Hardens up warped and marred,
To doing wrong he is always prone,
His life is a mess, he ends up scarred.
A child like clay when hardened wrong
Will need a thorough brokenness
A crushing from which he will be strong
A new creation, born from forgiveness

Teach Them Well
Wealth never guarantees
Good character is bred
It takes much time for these
Where Discipline is led.
The young don't grow up Good
Respect implanted there
We teach them as we should
What's honest and what's fair.
We teach them Gratitude
And how to say 'thank you'
We teach them attitudes
That bless in all they do.
The young can never gain
Whatever is not taught
At Home and so attain
The virtues that we sought.

A Heart After God
A heart that looks at God above
Is always filled within
By the purest color of His love
And not by the shallowness of skin.
A heart that dwells with God all day
Has room there for His Word to keep
It always beats in Love to pray
And give to Him all due worship.
A heart that rests in God will be
In comfort filled with inner Peace
Its songs of Joy eternally
Flow from the Presence that is His.
A heart that hopes in God endures
Times of loss, or tears, or strife.
It knows His promises are sure
Here in this world and after life.

Lying Foxes
1950, Quebec
At the age of twelve he believed all they said
Those sly thieves in robes of false piety
Although some of them now may be dead
They destroyed his views with hypocrisy.
As a boy in that Catholic boarding school
He had trusted the priests were pure, holy
But these foxes had made them into little fools
Deceived into thinking they were giving to charity.
The priests sold them cards of some Chinese children
Saying that these were in dire need of Baptism
His donations could help the lost and forsaken
But they've not been in that land of Communism.
That little choir boy wholeheartedly trusting
Was an easy prey for those priests who deceived
They ruined his faith and now he's forsaking
