At Sixty

At sixty, one will surely find
There is a very little trace
Of fleeting dreams in aging minds -
What's left is just some empty space.

At sixty, one finds excess time
For sadness and regrets,
For unshed tears were lost in years -
A place gray memories are set.

At sixty, there is little hope
To mend the pained and broken heart,
The failing sight now try to grope
At all the prospects that depart.

At sixty, prayers lost and said
Like ghosts now randomly returning -
Each night, as one there lays in bed
To God his peace he will be making.

Void 'holiness

How dare they represent
In sheer and vile hypocrisy
Our God Omnipresent
With their sinful mockery?

How dare they hide the tears
Of children, lives destroyed?
Covered lies through all the years
Their 'holiness' indeed is void!

A sheer insult of God so vile
Deception that is most sly
Innocence raped, all this while!
For Justice, the scarred children cry.

As they raise 'this is my body'
Their own flesh scorned and rotting
The gall of men who mercilessly
Snared young victims with their sinning.

The Word Of God

The Word of God is a Light unto our feet
It exposes Deception and reveals Truth
By reading it daily Wisdom we meet
And our spirit will harvest Peace as fruit.

The Word of God is a Hammer that breaks
The hardest of heart, the unbelieving soul
With each pounding, Pride we forsake
And the cleansing it does will make us whole.

The Word of God is a Fire that consumes
Removing the dross and as all sin unfold
It purifies us to give out sweet perfume
Our souls are molded, we come out as gold.

The Word of God is the Rock where we build
Our life and our very sure foundation
On it we can stand and find our shield
It's Truth does not waver in any situation.

The Proud

Pride exalts itself
It cannot ask for help

It cannot even pray
Humbly kneel today

It never bows to ask
It wears a stoical mask

Pride can breed anger
Can't forgive the offender

It goes for years in heights
A pedestal of Rights

Knows only 'I, me, mine'
As long as Self is fine

No pity, no compassion
Only selfish emotions

Enjoying the Presence of God

My soul is at rest in You,
For I am like a tree
planted beside streams of water,
bearing fruit in season.

My mind is fed by You
For Your wisdom comes
like fresh rain on parched land,
growing oaks of righteousness.

My heart is refreshed by You
As softly You speak in Spirit
like a gentle breeze at Horeb,
each breath a speech of love.

My being is lifted in You
As I scale to the Rock higher than I
reaching clouds of Your Presence,
standing in the heights of refuge.

Marks of a True Easter Man

Another Easter,
Another season.
Trying to foster
The real reason.
Time to repent?
Done that before
Change was absent
What was it for?

Notice the marks
Of the true Easter man,
He cannot look back
Facing God's direction,
He is not going back
From his crucifixion,
Nor return to the old
Rotten life oblivion.

He lost all his plans,
Someone did it for him,

Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth (BIBLE)

Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth

Seeds grow naturally when watered,
So also does sin and the thoughts of it.
The Word of God cannot be altered
By reading it one gains eternal profit.

When on a journey, one needs sight
Or else there's the danger to stumble
One cannot see without adequate light
And to go the Right Way, he's not able.

Thus in Life one needs God's Word
It's the Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth
All Wisdom, Peace, and Comfort it accords
Makes one so rich his light shines forth.

And know that God will not be mocked
A man shall reap all that he sows
Man's words are weighed for what it lacked

Yes I Am A Christian, Does That Bother You?

My words they come
As I want them to
They may cut some
Does that bother you?

I write my thoughts
My own convictions
Whether they are sought
Not my restriction.

You have your freedom
Well so do I!
My faith consumes
That is no lie.

Yes I'm a Christian
Write most of God,
Share Truth to man
That makes me glad.

Manifest Thy Glory

A troubled soul has cried today
His words were lost in pained emotions,
His thoughts at random as he prays,
O Lord, give ear to his devotion.

For all of us are like lost sheep
We wander 'bout in our solutions,
We go in circles, fall down deep,
In our quicksands of destruction.

Our strength is gone, so with our will,
Our troubles multiply to drown us.
We run to You Lord, You will heal,
For Your Name's sake, save this Dust.

Please take our hand and help us Lord!
We've seen what you have done for others.
Our hope is in Your promised Word,
And our affliction is not forever.

Forgiven

Yes, I was a transgressor
And I have broken all nine
Except the morbid one on murder
For I cannot stand the sight of blood
But then again, I did, for hate was mine
In evil thoughts and fiery rage
Enough to swallow my foe alive.

If looks could kill I've murdered many
My cutting words had ruined many lives
My Pride, the very sin of Lucifer
And my Greed had eaten all but me.
The seething hate never forgave
The bitterness was overwhelming
And I blamed God for everything.

But I was at the end of my rope
In darkness of soul I anguished
The torment so great there was no Hope
Like a snake I recoiled to perish
