Closest Is Always The Most Fun

I like to do this irrational thing
Some spirit of irony beckons me forward
Into this folly and fun, so onward I charge, onward I fling
My heart's words into this inked paper, praying they are ignored
Because the subject I write of is right there
Yep she's right there
Right here
This is when and why I choose to write
Because she is right there
So I write, I like to write as she watches
In complete ignorance; or that's the idea
Maybe she does know, but probably not
No one can read my handwriting, no one can read my thought
She won't see through the metaphor
How could she know it's her, she'd never it is her who it's all for

I play this fun game of risk and love
Throw my inhibition and write when she's on my right
Haha, I can write whatever I want and no one
Will eve know, surely I have won

In A Sense I Was Made For This

Upheaval and change
Challenges and knowledge
Schoolwork and Homework
Tests and Quizzes
Finals and Midterms
Broken relationships and loss of time
Unrealized dreams and confusion

I don't think I can handle all this
I know I can't handle this
I don't know what I will do with my life
I don't know my own ambition
Confused by my talents
Feel like I'm made for more
And Yet

Through the pain, when I look at them as trials
In a sense I'm made for this
I'm made to endure this
This is what gives me perseverance

Now It's More Than Seven

So maybe I thought that I could be satisfied
I assure you, I tried
But my heart would not corporate
Even though I have yet to even recuperate
From old scar and old pain
My heart still throws itself every which way
I seek a peace I cannot attain
Because the evil of my heart is becoming my master this day
It tries to lead my life and my soul
It tries to lead me again as a whole
Because giving into darkness is natural
Because there's a piece of hell
In the innermost parts, locked away, locked- but not secure
Locked because there's no cure

Striving for light is what is learned
Striving for light should have turned
My darkness into that light
But instead I'm overtaken by more darkness- blackness of night
Darkness, that can be felt, darkness that can speak

I'm Already Lonely

Why am I chasing you?
You've never chased me too
Every time I think about how much I supposedly love you
It shows me just how lonely I am, but I know you're not lonely too
I'd be conceited to think that I'm on your mind
I know you're not, I feel like I mean as much to you as a passing wind
You've made me so lonely because you just don't notice me
You've made me so lonely because I can't see
Why you 'd do this to me... what did I to deserve
Such scorn, such ignorance, when you know I'd do anything for you I'd serve
You, but none of my devotion means anything
Apparently my love and affection are just disgusting
Otherwise you wouldn't repulse
I can't help my feelings... I might be acting on impulse
But I can't deny how I feel
Even if you promise me my love isn't real
I can't contain
I can't abstain
Because I can't destroy my love
Yet you've made me so lonely

Guess (should i ever give the girl i love this., ,)

Guess....
Just guess.. they're 3 words thats it, not too hard
really just 3 words my dear
you have to figure them out right here
allow me to get close....close...
closer to you before i am taken by comatose,
let me lean in and whisper my 3 words to you
the 3 words i hope you know them too
one guess and one guess only, as i
tickle and tease you, galvanize your imagination so far as to fly
can you share my joy?
maybe you will share my joy after you guess, this isn't a decoy
I'm not running, I'm honest allow me to caress
you and fondle with your hair but guess
just 3 words,3 magic ones, last hint...closer..magic... heres the spell
it changes you and me to us, now you should know quite well
guess those magic words as i lean in close.... just three...magic..three...
as you stand here right next to me
come I'll whisper them to you
but first just guess and I will guess your next words too

What Is Said

How could I ever tell you how important what you say
can be
that the words of any man in a day
can affect a life, millions, or even me
our words have so much power
so do not cower
and do not shy away
do not hold back what you want to say
because your words affect a lifetime
speak your mind
all shall be fine
do not fear rejection for the reward is sublime
to save life or cause a turn
to help the world, or save one destined to burn
but forget not that words destroy and create
break down and perpetuate
the power of words and their force of love
the power of words and their capacity for sadistic destruction
forget not that you hold inside this death and life
the power to create argument and strife

The Color Blue

the color blue is known to do
something strange to you
this time when i say you it is truly the reader
not the one who i love
not the one pure like a dove
the color blue
seems strange in nature just like you
it stimulates dreams without asking anything in return
nor do most dreams it propagates burn
no the color blue is serene
nice and soft like a moisturizing cream
but there is another color
that is not proved by psychology to stimulate dreams
i call it the color black
though the dreams are nightmares they are grouped in the same sack
with dreams akin like brother though more like an evil twin
the color black seems to always win
by bringing out your nightmares and pain
and sometimes your feelings begin to wain
that gives way to apathy

Turn It On

Every day just turn it on
Place it upon
the desk or in my pocket
That's what I do with it
Every day, just waiting for a call
Waiting for a text for your text, for your call, but it shall
Not come, it will not it just won't
Because you really don't
Text me or call me
But I'll turn it on and wait, you know just to see
In fact I'll keep hoping it's you
With every beep and even ring too
When I check it'll be like a reality check
It'll only take a sec
Before I realize it's not you, it will not be you, it won't
I wonder if you don't
Turn on your phone, but then again maybe you don't care
Maybe because I'd never dare
To complain to you about this to your face
I can't take the disgrace

Not Knowing

Not knowing is worse...
Where to run to...
to have no one to hold you tightly and console is this not a curse?
but as for me who
do i have and whom may i turn to? whom may i trust
so many i wish to but my friendship turns to lust
my feelings melt into love
yearning for my more... when i should desire nothing...deserve no dove
deserve no one pure, for i am dirty...unclean
in this darkness my troubles teem
i drag myself deeper in to try to get to you...not knowing is worse
its a curse
not knowing if one is being ignored not knowing if what you turn to
is something that is real...not just real to you
Can you hear my voice im yelling now
i have been condemned by what i allow
sinking deeper just to have someone that i can touch
having something to turn to not being enough something to clutch
why can't i trust what saved me from the monster inside
why do i hide from Him and run to you

Truth/Opinion

He who stands alone to codify a belief
Will inherit much grief.
Without the vindication
Of shared affirmation
How can he hope to be right.... or feel right?
Is it worth being right if it means you're alone?
This is my plight
The hardest part of declaring my truth is that... it is my own
And even though denial does not affect the status of truth
It feels so, as if the roof
Of my house... has just caved in
As if I'm the one committing a sin
When really I'm right, I must be right
This is not something that 'might'
I must be right because this is everything!
I will not swing
Nor to the right nor to the left, but my truth feels less true
When I don't have the approval of him or her... or you
How can they just say it's my opinion?
It's the truth! My justification
