Would That My Love Were Magic
Would that my love were magic
I would take away your pain.
Would that my love were magic
You would run, laugh, dance, sing,
Walk in the snow again.
Love's magic is found only
In the hearts of lovers
and writer's pens.

Foot Prints In The Snow
Footprints in the snow
Little faces all aglow
Voices filled with song and laughter
Echoing toward the pale sky rafters
Snow people soon appear
So happy snow days are here!

Valentine's Day 2008
A day for hearts and flowers
And candy
Chocolate flavored...
And words dipped in love's sweet ecstasy....
True words
Sincere in thought
Right from the heart...
These things I give to you
On this valentine's day
Of February 2008

My Pink Poem (Written With My Pink Pen)
I think I'll write a pink poem,
To make you smile,
Because pink poems say
I love you in all the languages
Of the world!
Take my hand,
Take my heart,
Share my laughter,
Listen to the music...
And don't just smell the roses,
Plant new ones and think of me.

The Lady in Pink
Me thinks
Pink is her favorite color
In which, she is
So elegantly dressed.
She is the grand dame, in
Pink Sweater,
Pink skirt,
Pink coat,
Pink hose,
Pale shoes
And pink pearls clipped in her
Perfectly coifed
Champagne colored hair
And diamonds in her smile.

My Blue Poem
Writing my blue poem
With my pink pen...
Mellow blue,
Sweet Aster sugar blue,
Sad sighing blue,
Mid-night sky blue
Blues singing, crying blue...
'Lady Day' blue
Soon smiling blue,
Because I am thinking of you,
Writing my blue poem
With a pink pen
Thinking of you

My Heart Weeps Like A Thousand Willow Trees
If it is true that a heart cries,
Then my heart weeps like a thousand
Willow trees!
If it is true that a heart knows sorrow,
My heart is sadder than the tragedy of wars
Lost or won!
If it is true that a heart can break
My heart is shattered like Humpty Dumpty
From his fall,
Crushed like a rose beneath uncaring feet!

A Salute To Spring...Spring Time The Best Time
Spring in my step
Spring in the air
Spring!
Spring!
Lingering everywhere.
Spring fever to follow,
But I don't care,
Spring, for new journeys,
I'll meet you there!
Where?
By the garden gate,
You silly thing,
It's an invitation to frolic
So let's begin to sing.
It's Spring!

My Red Poem
Here I write a red poem,
Sophie Tucker red,
'The last of the red hot mama's red'
It is a hard Tap Dancing Red,
St. Valentine's red...
Cinnamon Apple scented red...
Georgio sweet smelling red,
Victoria Secret Red,
Morning sunrise red,
Red Hot lipstick red,
The blush on your cheeks red,
Happy Go Lucky Red,
Written with my flaming Pink Craylo Pen,
On this October day...
Oh you kid!

I Owe A Debt To Spring
Oh, I owe a debt to spring,
She brought me wild flowers
And hardy daffodils
Beautiful velvet green carpeted hills.
She brought the mist of April showers,
With the promised bloom of May flowers.
Birds came back to sing,
Oh, I owe a debt to spring...
Seeing the colors of a rainbow dancing
Across the sky,
Spring came in with a lullaby.
I owe a debt to spring for
The love you bring,
To me my love,
To me.
