I am writing you these letters
to let you know that I miss you
I think of you all of the time
And I wonder how you're doing
Have you been thinking about me
As much as I have been of you
Or have you found a lover
In the time I've been away
If so I can understand
Why you have forgotten me
I have not forgotten you
Nor do I think that I could
I've written you love letters
And one day I'll mail them too
I hope that day arrives soon
Because I really miss you
I'll try to write more later
But for now I have to go

To Do Or Not To Do

To do or not to do
I have been having
Some strange thoughts
The past couple of days
Thanks to an incident
With a credit card
And my checking account
I am almost tempted
To go for broke
And say the hell with it all
Bankruptcy could not be all that bad
Could it
I was thinking I could move to Mexico
For a few years
And pay a couple hundred toward rent
And a Mexican shrink
And have plenty left over
For senoritas and beer…LOL
Wouldn’t that be the life

I drew a line in the sand
And I hoped that you’d cross
But if you didn’t
There would be a cost
I didn’t mention
Nor did I say
What it might be
Yet to me
The bar was set high
And it might cause me
Great suffering
For in my heart

The Walls Of Your Castles Are Sure To Crumble And Fall

When one falls in love it can feel like walking on air
You feel you can overcome anything in your way
You feel that there’s nothing in life that can bring you down
Your depression and loneliness seem to disappear
The walls of your castles are sure to crumble and fall
The same walls you have built to keep your broken heart safe
From the possibility of feeling pain again
You will once again feel free to be happy in life
You no longer feel guilty deep within your freed soul
One feels that at last they have found true meaning in life
Finally mundane feelings become fewer between
They don’t matter they are trivial feelings for one
‘Tis real and you can feel it deep inside your core’s soul
Then you and your love will truly be known as a pair

Women Are The Most Beautiful Creatures On This Earth

Women are the most beautiful creatures on this Earth
They are so beautiful from the moment of their birth
I believe that all women have a natural grace
Women drive men crazy by wearing leather and lace
Well maybe not all men go for that sort of a thing
Some men are driven nuts by a woman who can sing
Although that is another story all in itself
Some women like to wear fur and nice opulent things
They drive men nucking futs and say buy me a nice ring
They always call to talk and chitchat late in the night
But then again I once met one named Heather Albright
She could weave a mystery without a clue I say
By far she has the most beautiful golden hair spray
Feminine as any woman in touch with her self

I Am The Apple Of My Father's Eye

I am the apple of my Father's eye
I hope that I will be until I die
I believe I am destined to be poor
‘Tis what I chose when he knocked on my door

After all he did give me my white rock
That's when he received me into his flock
The world will go on as its always done
I'll continue living knowing I've won

Someone holds my signet within their hands
Maybe they've marked many in many lands
Could this person be considered the beast
What will happen in this modern Zeitgeist

I'll no longer worry about my wife
After all she is living her own life
She is the master of her destiny
She'll continue to do what gives her glee

A Letter To All

Today I had a rude awakening
Today I went out to dinner with my boy and wife
One of Alice’s songs began to play in the restaurant
One of them said “Isn’t that your girlfriend singing”
Both my boy and my wife began to laugh out loud
I felt as if I were the butt of some cruel joke
I began to think that I should give up my love of poetry
So I will give everyone my reason for no punctuation
I don’t want my poems to be restrained I want them to be free
And everyone may read it differently each time they read it
Maybe if my poetry receives recognition one day I may return
That is if my family learns that I am a fairly decent poet
And they tell me that I can continue to write poetry
I will miss you Alice more than anything I am sad
To say that it is with a heavy heart I must bid you all adieu

I guess that one should not take
The Bible literally
I choked for lionesses
As in the book of Daniel
I ended up in prison
Then I even went naked
As they say Isaiah did (I believe it was Isaiah, not positive)
That one landed me in jail
I once stated I was God
One of poetry at least
It's hard living on the edge
Though there's times of clarity
They say that I'm bipolar
Also schizoaffective
I'm not sure what all that means
Or even if they're spelled right
I guess I'm no young lion
And not much of a poet
I just thought that you should know

What Will You Do With The Ball My Friend

I don’t know how you did it
But you drew me out of my shell
You made me let the world know
My name and who I really am
And now that the cat is out of the bag
I just thought that I should let you know
That if you continue to hide behind other names
As I have done in the past
You will surely drive me away
I thought that you might email me a few poems
You had hundreds to choose from
But you didn’t email me a single one
No big deal
So I guess that there is not much more that I can do
This has turned into a dire situation
I guess that you can say that it is now do or die
If you do not start posting poems under your true name
I personally feel and believe that I will turn around
