Can We Ever Feel And Care
If it is then I am sick
I burn in the night like a wick
Will it ever end
Wake me with a prick
Can you cure me my friend
Can you provide sanctuary
Can you be my opium
Can you cure me of my sleeplessness
Can't you hear them telling me there is no cure
Can my cure be opium
Could I ever get to much
Would you ever be my crutch
Can we ever feel each other's touch
Can you withstand the grip of my clutch
Can it ever be as such
Can I ever awake from this nightmare
Can we ever feel and care

Destiny Is Cruel (Quatrain)
I would love to be
In a world of white
Where the days are long
And there is no night
Where we could cuddle
And be all alone
Without any cares
Or even a phone
We could pass the day
Writing poesy
Where you could be you
And I could be me
There is more to love
Than physical touch
Or cooking breakfast
Or packing a lunch

Just Remember Keep On Writing
I once loved you
With all of my heart
I wonder why
My hearts torn apart
You may move on
And I'll do the same
Neither of us
Should feel any shame
Maybe one day
We will be again
If it is so
Will it be a sin
We are married
With ones whom we love
So why is it
You fit like a glove

We Grew Up So Fast (Free Verse)
We Grew Up So Fast
My love do you remember
When we were in school
You were the debutant
And I was the fool
You were in the in crowd
I an outcast
But when we would talk
I wanted it to last
Oh how times have changed
We grew up so fast
Things are not so simple
As they were in the past
I knew I loved you
From the first day we met
One day we’ll be together
This is a sure bet
Until that day dawns
I will be here alone

I Will Miss All Of You
I Will Miss All Of You
I have grown weary
Of writing poetry ‘til dawn
I don't think that you all will miss me
When I am finally gone
Poetry is my love
And I will miss her much
But when it comes to poems
I have written a bunch
I will miss all of you
Whom I call my friends
If it were not for you all
I would never have picked up my pens
Maybe one day I will come back
To play with you all with our words
For there will always be the many

She Was Poetry (Free Verse)
She had style
And she had grace
She even had
An angelic face
I fell for her
One dark night
She even told me
This feels so right
Little did I know
That deep down below
One day would come
And she would become my foe
We would write poems
All night long
It felt so right
It couldn't be wrong
I do remember
That fateful day
We got in a fight
Then she went away

Some Of You May Think I Am Joshing (Shakespearean Sonnet)
Some of you may think that I am joshing
You may think that I am telling you all lies
I'm getting tired of constant jeering
With all of you hiding behind your guise
It really doesn't matter to me much
What many of you poets think of me
I just hope that you all don't pull your punch
Just tell me the truth about what you see
I'm a grown poet I can take the truth
So let me know about what you all think
Even if you may knock out my front tooth
Maybe I'll go and have a physical
So I can prove that I'm not full of bull

If By Some Strange Chance You Were A Spider (Spenserian Sonnet)
If by some strange chance you were a spider
And I too by chance were a little bee
If destiny were not cruel as she were
Maybe you and I could finally be
Then everyone would be able to see
Our feelings that we have kept in the dark
I wonder if they would ever agree
That our loving words always hit their mark
Or could we sit on a bench in a park
Reminiscing about the times we've had
What if we run off and go on a lark
Would such a thing really be all that bad
Would it be an unforgivable sin
If destiny let you pick up my pen

Maybe...It
I think that it’s
For the best
That we
Have finally moved on
I guess that I
Was selfish
In wanting you
All for my self
Maybe
It was not you
That I had fallen in love with
Maybe
It was just your poetry
It
Was probably all in my mind
It
Was just my stinking thinking
Believing
That you loved me
As much

This Is For My Wife On Our Special Day (Italian Sonnet)
This is for my wife on our special day
It's been twenty years since we first met
I wasn't sure if it was a good bet
I didn't know if things would be okay
Now it's our anniversary I say
Little did I know I'd end up in debt
That happens when you buy all you can get
Sooner or later you will have to pay
Living alone can lead to depression
Lonesomeness is so hard for one to bear
At times I feel like pulling out my hair
I'll confess that its symptoms are no fun
I surround myself with people who care
It is so lonely being number one
