King of Sorrow

I am that king of sorrow
Who owns no hope
For a better tomorrow
We all live and die in sorrow,
Dear Christ, it's you we follow.
If a life that I could borrow.
.
I would borrow that of America,
And lend it to my beloved Africa.
If I am privileged to meet with a president,
I would like to meet with Barack Obama,
And tell him how much I like his government.

Our leaders should learn from example,
For Adam can't find for himself another apple
That garden had already been lost to Lucifer.
And Eve is yet another Pandora.
.
Who dared admit the folly on Olympus,
Who could quench the thirst

Parents Are Not Payable

Listen, dear brothers, sisters,
Look back in nostalgia;
Think about dear mother,
dear father,
The ones who gave life to you
And thaught you how to be
a man, a woman too;
Your mother who suckled you
Nine months she bore you
in her womb;
From his own sweat your
father paid for your school
And made sure your belly is
never emptied with food.
Think about them in
everything you do.
For some day you wil be
a father, a mother too
And your children will think
about you in everything

A Song of Wrong [ You Laughed and Laughed and Laughed ]

In your eyes
My song is one of wrong
Intruding into your heart
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
In your heart, you knew
I could be there,
Cause you brought me here.
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
In your soul,
You knew I want you
In my home.
'cause you brought me hope.
And you laughed and
Laughed and laughed.
.
You laughed at my wrong

Religion (This is what You have Done)

Relogion O religion!
This is what you have done
From chaos we were brought
Into a world with love.
We are the Christians
With Christ we entered Jerusalem triumphantly.
O Jesus, mighty saviour, truely you are Christ!
After death you rise
It's my my pride you're on my side.
We are the Christians
Of a thousand century
With Christ we rise
With love we followed Jesus
And together we made the Church.

Religion O religion
This is what you have done
From Chaos we were made, into a world with love.

Praise be to Allah

Stigma

See her seated there all by herself
God! This town is so full of lonely people
She is beautiful among all I have seen
Though her face is wet from weaping
Maybe her lover has left her sinking
She was a princess among her peers
All her friends have become her haters
Now they have come out as heroes
Even those who dared not look in her face
Those against her have become the head.
Something has happenf to her
She has been infected, infected with
The deadly disease
Now the unavoidable fear of stigmatization
Has become her best friend
For how long will this last?
Only God knows,
But this I know for sure
No one lives frever. At the end
We will all accout for our lives,

Modern Girls

I asked for a love my own
You come shooting me
an arrow.
I pray for the day I die
To find love on the other
side.
When lovers die by love's
alter,
Angels songs will falter.
They say: Will love ever
get better?
Then you unarguably said,
Keeping all in discontentment
As they said love is blind;
And I feared to lose my
sight.
All I want is a love by my
side,
But there you come again,
With your irresistible charm

Dilema Of Going Home

Two decades now
Have I lived in America
And my mother
Calling from far away Africa,
Also my little sister
She propably was told of America
They all weap in my
dreams these days,
They want me back in Africa
To build the threshold of my father
That is far gone in decadence.
.
Home, I am coming home
To see my mothers face again
And my little sister Franscisca
She must be a woman by now.
But tell me brothers;
How could I ever go back to Africa
When I yet do not have wings for flight?
.

How It Happened

It happened on a sunday noon
As worshippers studied the holy
Book,
A bang was heard from the back
The Church was taken completely
aback.
Boom! Worshippers lie in state
Bigots are at it again,
People call them Boko Haramians,
They have such tendencies like
the Talibans;
They tell you they fight for their
Religion.
But they terrorise the children
of God.

Lord, when will You send again
Your Son?
To make them see Religion is love
Without love there would be

Ask My Mother

My eyes are red
Yet I did not smoke hemp
I have never been a smokered
Neither am I a drinkard.
But I am red in anger
Anger for my leaders.
.
They have have failed me,
They failed many a youth like me
Yes we are heading for a revolution
Revolution for a dying nation.
Ask my mother
She was here before my father.
.
When the white came
They killed my father
My sisters they raped.
They bent my brothers
Unto fields of foreign lands.
.

When You treat Me like that

My sweet heart cried out her heart
She said I break her heart
When I treat her like that
She said I made her sad when she caught me on the act
I never knew I could break a heart
Not that of my sweet heart
Now she is parking out of my house.
What can a man do to mend
A broken heart?
I am now alone, all alone in my empty
House, and my empty heart
Or should i say, my broken heart.
It is difficult, very difficult to live
Without her in my heart and my house
These days I drink, day in, day out
I try to forget my sweet heart,
But when I'm sober, there she is, right here in my heart
Her last words to me, 'You break my heart when you treat me lile that, I cant live like that'
She parked and left my house
Now here I am drinking my life out
