Psalm 101
I will sing of Your mercy and judgement
To all the peoples of the land
Mercy and judgement are my solid foundation
It's the ground upon which I stand
May my heart be pure before my King
And my eyes see only good
May my feet take me down a narrow path
And may Your Word be my only foot
May I serve the Lord all of my days
And be found to be faithful and true
And with my mouth I shall declare His righteousness
May I be steadfast in all that I do
Your love is eternal and it has no end
It brings life where there was only death
My hope is renewed, my strength has returned
And all of this by your spirits breath

Psalm 99
Let the oceans roar
And the mountains fall down
Let the earth be moved
Let the King wear His crown
For the Lord is great
He brings glory to His name
The earth cries out
And the stars they do the same
For the Lord is established
He is great in all His ways
And His people are forgiven
And they praise Him all their days
A cloudy pillar by day
And a fire by night
A voice calls out from them
To rise up and fight

Psalm 114
The world is a foreign place to be
And from it the Lord has set us free
He is found in the hearts of His people
Not under an old church steeple
The sea saw your glory and fled
And even in the desert your children are fed
The Jordan fell back upon its feet
And the people of Jericho suffered defeat
Tremble O earth at the presence of God
Mountains fall down where you stand
Seas, so vast, flee away from here
For Christ stands at God's right hand
Victories are won in the depths of the valley
And strongholds are broken down
God's children are called to the battle
This is where victors gain their crowns

Psalm 25
To you oh Lord I lift up my soul
And of you I shall never be ashamed
And all the day long I shall wait on you
And all of my enemies shall be tamed
Forgive me oh Lord, in your mercy I plea
Its in your mercy I ask that you remeber me
Pardon my iniquity, cast my sins into the sea
And in your debt I shall forever be
Good and upright is my God
All your paths are mercy and truth
You are great and worthy to be praised
I have loved you from the days of my youth
Consider my enemies for they are many
And deliver me from their cruel hateful hand
Preserve me oh Lord in your righteousness
And forever on you I shall stand

Psalm 81
In the midst of the noise I speak to you
Open your ears and hear my voice
I removed your shoulder from the burden
And yet I do not hear my children rejoice
I hear them complain and grumble aloud
They are blinded by their own desire
Their mouths confess but their hearts deny
Yet still by night they follow the fire
My heart was to give you milk and honey
And to give you the finest wheat
You could have stood and saw the power of God
And watch your enemies fall to defeat
Yet even now I speak to you
I would fill you with passion and desire
Humble yourself before the Lord
And I will fill you with a fire

Psalm 16
In Your presence there is fullness of joy
And at your right hand, pleasures forevermore
Preserve me oh God, for in you shall I trust
And it is you that I worship and adore
Oh Lord you are my portion and my cup
Before you I fall as I lift you up
In the night seasons I know you are there
Despite the darkness, you hear my prayer
And now my flesh it rests in hope
And my heart is exceedingly glad
You are my right hand and cannot be moved
So I rejoice and cannot be sad
For saddness has given its way to joy
And in you I know I'm complete
The night has given way to the light of the day
Oh Lord I am found at your feet

The Human Spirit
Oh brightest of the brightest stars
You shine out greatly in the darkest night
And all around the darkness falls
Yet you do not, you stand and fight
Time and again, wave after wave
The darkness assaults your soul
Threatening to smash to a thousand pieces
Yet you still stand tall and whole
Relentlessly the scorching fire rains down
And you are battered from every side
Weaker now, to your knees you fall
Desperately seeking for a place to hide
For one who once stood tall and strong
Now forsaken and lost and no more fight
Surrounded by darkness on every side
You must now flee into the darkest night

Psalm 134
With my hands raised to heaven
I will worship my King
With my hands raised to heaven
With the angels I'll sing
O Jesus in heaven we lift up your name
Your the King of glory, my eternal flame
Forever and ever are hearts are on fire
Though the floods may come we'll only go higher
With the wings of a dove and a heart full of love
We'll go higher and higher as we soar up above
To the throne-room of glory, to the one that is holy
And there forever and ever we'll be
And we will worship forever before the altar
And that; s where forever we'll be
All of God's children assembled together
To never depart from Go's sanctuary

Psalm 122
I will worship you in Spirit and Truth
My delight is to come to this place
The place where you dwell in your sanctuary
Where we lift up our eyes to thy Face
And together with my brothers and sisters
I shall come before thy throne
You're the bright morning star, the Son of God
You're the Christ, the chief cornerstone
This place that I find you is Spirit and Truth
It dwells in the heart of men
The New Jerusalem, the heart of God
Of its glory I shall write with my pen
And the house of David lives on forever
And we dwell in the holy of holies
We dwell in the midst of your burning heart
In this place our spirits are free

Psalm 102
Hear my cries to You oh Lord
Hide not thy face in the day of my trouble
For my days are consumed in the flames of life
And my works are but wood, hay and stubble
My bones are that of an aged man
And my heart barely beats in my chest
I am gaunt by my trials and my hopelessness
And sleep has fled and left me no rest
I have decided to trust in the Lord
And my enemies all around they deride
They stalk me like lions and seek to devour
Beneath the shadow of His wings I shall hide
Arise oh Lord on the wings of a dove
Come down from your holy place
Hear the cries of your humble servant oh Lord
May I rest in Your mercy and grace
