Psalm 48
Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised
Mount Zion is the city of the King
When mortal kings gather, they fall down on their face
They lift up their voice to HIm and sing
For God is the God, the King of all the earth
All earthly kings are puny in His sight
And as far as the east stretched from the west
He is God over every day and night
There is a coming city, the city of God
The new Jerusalem that waits on high
It waits upon the martyrs and the coming King
And every eye shall see it in the sky
The promise fulfilled, the city come down
The day of God's judgment is at hand
We'll wait upon the Lord and His promises
On Christ the solid Rock we all shall stand

Psalm 40
I waited patiently upon the Lord
That He may hear my cry
Surrounded by darkness on every side
In this place I will surely die
Where is this place I thought I knew
Its dark, its dimply lit
I looked around and all I could see
Was the bottom of the bottomless pit
I looked up and could see no light
And cried out ' O God help me.'
And in an instant His hand came down
And before I knew it I was free
I was out of the pit and standing on the Rock
I could feel the sun on my face
My heart was warm, there was a song on my lips
I was engulfed in a warm embrace

Psalm 10
Arise oh God and lift up your hand
For all around the wicked do stand
Like a lion in the den, they secretly wait
Crouched at the door, waiting at the gate
To devour the just and destroy without cause
To oppress the poor and all without pause
And no appeal to the wicked can make them budge
They neither consider their end, nor consider the Judge
Who is the Lord and King forever
And who holds time in His hand
It you Lord, bringing justice to the fatherless
And causing the righteous to stand
And on that day, when the Lord takes His place
The wicked will hide, they will cover their face
And they will cry out ' we were ignorant you see'
Yet forever in darkness they forever shall be

Psalm 8
What is man that you are mindfull of him
Yet you crowned him with honor and glory
And out of the mouths of infants and babes
They cry out that old, old story
Of how you came from heaven above
And filled the earth with mercy and love
Even the fish of the sea and the birds of the sky
Glorify your name and lift you on high
Oh Lord how excellent is your name
Since the day I met you, I've never been the same
You took what was bound and you set it free
You restored my soul to how it was meant to be
When I consider the heavens, the work of your hand
I see the glory and majesty of all that you planned
And so, on your truth forever I'll stand
Until the day that I enter the promised land

Psalm 21
With a crown of gold upon His head
He is the king of the living and the dead
And all who are alive in Christ will see
That they once were bound but now are free
The power of life is in His hand
Yet in the darkness His enemies stand
And the light of Christ it shines from above
From darkness to light, from hatred to love
Into His hand God delivers them all
The great and the lowly, the short and the tall
And who can resist when Christ Knocks on the door
The broken, the crushed, the rich and the poor
Come one, come all come now in the day
Come now while there's light, with heads bowed to pray
And though you be many come shout with one voice
For salvation we praise you, in this we rejoice!

Psalm 145
Your greatness is unsearchable O Lord
I will praise your name forever
I will sing of all your wonderous works
Of Calvary, my soul to deliver
I will declare your greatness Lord
To my sisters and my brothers
And we shall know your majesty
From one generation to another
You rule and reign within my heart
And I now call you Father
Your tender mercies flood my soul
And your love goes on forever
And of your Kingdom there's no end
You rule in glorious majesty
You come down from heaven to walk with men
You came down from heaven to set men free

Still Standing On You Feet?
When first I came to Jesus
The river was ankle deep
It cooled me in the day time
Yet still I was upon my feet
I went further down the river
And to my knees I went in deep
I could see a little clearer
Yet still I was upon my feet
I traveled down still further
And in the river went waist deep
Now I felt the river pulling
Yet still I was upon my feet
I decided to go deeper
Fully abandoned, no retreat
I was swept into the river
No longer standing on my feet

Psalm 106
You can have what you will have
But have leanness of your soul
You can rebel against the Lord
And you will fall into a hole
O give thanks unto the Lord
For His mercy endures forever
If you trust in the Lord your God
You will surely cross the river
If you grumble and complain
And have eyes that cannot see
You will wander in the desert
And you never shall be free
If you praise Him in your trials
When He feeds you bu His hand
You will cross the mighty river
Into the promised land

Psalm 136
O give thanks to the Lord all ye people
For His mercies endure forever
Open up thy mouth and make a joyful sound
For God's love is everywhere, it's all around
Even though I was lost and still in my sin
He plagued me relentlessly from deep within
And though I had wandered far from His sight
He came to me when I cried in the night
He delivered me and saved me from all my distress
And my sins He forgave me when I confessed
He struck all my enemies one by one
And so to that place I would never return
He made the sun and the moon and all that with love
He put the stars in the heavens and clouds high above
He redeemed me and loved me and called me by name
I was struck by His presence and was never the same

Psalm 146
Do not put your trust in man
Put your trust in God alone
Sing praises to the Lord your God
Come sing before His holy throne
My hope is in the Lord my God
Maker of heaven and earth
My hope is in the Lord my God
It is only Him that I will serve
He is a Father to the fatherless
He sets the prisoners free
He feeds all those who come to Him
Who come to Him on bended knee
He opens up the yes of men
So they can clearly see
The King and all His wonderous works
The King who set them free
