Psalm 63

O God you are my God
In the morning I will rise to thee
You're the one that came to earth
You're the one who came and died for me

My soul thirsts for you
And I will seek you all my days
My soul longs for you
That I may give you all my praise

In a dry and thirsty land
If I don't find you I will die
There is no water in this place
For you O Lord must rend the sky

I seek you in your hiding place
To see your power and glory
A touch from you is better than life
I want my life to be your story

We Find Our Rest In Thee

We were restless
Until we found our rest in thee
We were anxious
Until we glimpsed eternity

We were lost
Until you came to show the way
We were alone
Until you walked with us each day

We are fearful
Until we revel in your love
We are foolish
Until your wisdom flows in us

We were ungrateful
Until we gazed on Calvary
We were bound
Until you came to set us free

Peace Like A River

My peace is like a river
Winding slowly to the sea
My heart is deeper than the ocean
Filled with love He gave to me

Oh love that knows no ending
Rise up and set me free
I shall sail forever on this ocean
Forever, ever closer unto thee

Fill my sails oh precious Jesus
Wind of the Spirit propel me on
Over seas of tranquil beauty
To the horizon and beyond

I have sailed through stormy waters
When all my days had turned to night
I have sailed though windless days
Often tempted, tired, and no more fight

In The Palm Of His Hand

I have been to a glorious land
That is far beyond what I had planned
Beyond this world and all it's dreams
That lies in the shadow of His Holy wings

I followed Him and we took flight
And He carried me on beyond the night
Through a Vail of darkness, pain and fear
My sweet Jesus was oh so near

Majesty, glory, praise to our King
There are no words that I can sing
That would fully express what He is to me
As He carried me across a majestic sea

Mountainous waves rose up to fight
Yet in His hand I was held so tight
Farther, farther, farther along
In an ocean of praise, and on the wings of a song

Psalm 66

All the people of the earth cry out
Sing out His glorious name
Give Him honor and praise and glory
To know Him is to never be the same

Do you know the Lord most high?
He turned the water into wine
He watches over us
He watches all the time

He rules by His power forever
By His hand I have my breath
He keeps my soul among the living
He delivers my soul from death

He refined me as gold and silver
He taught me by trial and test
He brought me through fire and water
Upon His word my soul does rest

Psalm 143

Will I ever see the morning?
Will this darkness give me rest?
It has both its hands around my throat
My soul's in deep distress

And I think of how it used to be
From this dry and dusty land
My soul was watered in the fountains of joy
How you led me by the hand

And in distress my soul cries out
Will you hide your face from me?
I'll die before the morning light
If you don't come and set me free

You are my song my strong high tower
It's unto you I run
Come seek me out, Lord hear my shout
If you don't then I am surely done

Psalm 144

Blessed is the Lord my God
Who equips me for the fight
Who delivers me from every foe
Who saves me from the darkest night

What is man that you mind him Lord?
That you would die to set him free
I thank you that you took my place
On the battle-field of Calvary

For you made man your crowning glory
And then he turned his back on you
But you would not abandon him
You would do what you had to do

You bent the heavens and came down
You mercy flowed from heaven above
You conquered death and broke the chains
That set Him free by your shed blood

I Am Persuaded

What shall separate us from the Love of God?
In Christ alone we stand
No power in hell nor darkest foe
Shall take us from His hand

For the Love of God is a burning fire
That burns within our heart
To please our God is our one desire
And from that we shall never part

Though death may overtake us
And life may beat us down
There is no power on earth or hell
That shall keep us from our crown

He is higher than the highest heights
He is deeper than the deepest depths
He died for us on Calvary
And we shall follow His footsteps

Psalm 105

Call upon His name all of His children
Announce His name to all the sons of man
Seek His holy face now and forever
Open up your ears to hear His plan

When He makes a covenant it shan't be broken
And all His promises are always yes, amen
No matter if you find yourself in prison
Or at the bottom of the roaring lion's den

When famine reigns and all the land is hungry
The seed is planted as a lowly slave
And Joseph goes before his brothers into Egypt
And at God's hand he would arise and save

For what was meant for evil and destruction
God will turn this evil into good
Salvation that was wrought from death and darkness
This is manna from above, its angels food

Psalm 126

The rains that fall from heaven
Fall down upon our face
And the dawn is surely coming
Yet in the darkness we embrace

Perhaps you've never seen the dawn
Yet in your heart you know it's true
That beyond the edge of all you know
There is a sky that's ever blue

To plough the field of perpetual winter
For a harvest never seen before
Is to walk in darkness without stumbling
Is to open up a heavenly door

What lies beyond, no one can see
But through the door there is no fears
This is a place where seeds are found
They are for those who sow in tears
