Speak easy

Ever had so much to say but cannot find the words, when you do you just do not have the nerve.

Waste time, time wasted over what might be said, conversations played out only in your head.

Silence is golden so they say, time keeps ticking its running away.

Never runs back just out of control, do soul searching to find the know.

The words you find seam just too few, say nothing at all keep it in you.

If spoken aloud could set you free, there inside, somewhere in me.

Maybe a magician could bring it to light, maybe a strong man to fight this fight.

Speak easy when spoken, say it so clear, I fear, these words, never hear.

The less you speak the more that is herd, screaming out loud not saying a word.

Speak easy to you, few words need say, speak easy to me, time slipping away.

H2o

Bubbling up
from within
life giving,
quench my thirst.

Gathering in the grotto
spilling over its rim.

Trickle down,
a new begins.

Babbling brook.

Gentle stream.

Rapidly flowing river.

Ragging currents.

Frothy unsettled turbulence.

Otter Creek

Past meadows, beyond trees, down muddy banks flows otter creek.
King fisher in branches, perched, poised.
Skydiver, bullet from above, silent splash, into otter creek.
Muscles plucked from their beds, shells discarded, gathered for fun, pass up not one.
Trout fry swim swiftly, cray fish beneath rocks avoid seeking hands, pincers poised, threatening stance.
Kids crossing fallen logs, catching frogs, skipping rocks, swimming in otter creek.
Mud wars rage, picnic blanket laid on the green glade near otter creek.
We follow paw prints, beneath willow tree roots, den site dug deep into muddy banks of otter creek.
Within the town of Franklinville, hot summers day, sister, niece, and I, our dad's.
Never saw the otters of the creek, only paw prints, left proof of an existence.
In memories I venture, hoping, just a glimpse.
To sit once again, past meadows, beyond trees, down muddy banks, there it flows, otter creek.

Widow's Walk

Dead men tell no lies, nor speak of loved ones lost.
Retrieving faded memories.
What price?
What cost?
Barter for time, go back when, pirates bootie if I obtained.
For answers to questions why?
A bribe to ease the pain.
Lost forever, gone away.
I walk the widow's walk.
Gazing out upon the sea, with god's speed and to whom I talk.
I ask of him your safe return, from the oceans deep.
In my heart I long for you, keeping me from sleep.
Fore if I do, dose away, restless nights do creep.
Through open window I hear calling, sea breezes part the drape.
Wash ashore to my dismay, bottle, they retrieve.
Letter lost, years afloat, no longer do I grieve.
Dearest one, truest love, I part from you this day.
Ship wreck, far from shore, my love I must convey.
Waited five and twenty more, I read the words you scribed.
Waken by harsh cries of gull's, mocking, in dreams, was denied.

Forewarn me

forewarn me, impending doom.
forewarn me, eternal gloom.
forewarn me, end is near.
forewarn me, I do not care.
forewarn me, choices I make.
forewarn me, chances I take.
forewarn me, my heart may break.
forewarn me, for goodness sake.
forewarn me, better days yet to come.
forewarn me, pills on my tongue.
forewarn me, will be alright.
forewarn me, wish me good night.
forewarn me, talking in my head.
forewarn me, can not return from the dead.
forewarn me, people will be cruel.
forewarn me, not always the rule.
forewarn me, life is not how you see it today.
forewarn me, the answer is not to give it away.
forewarn me, the time it will take to turn it around.
forewarn me, feeling lost, one day feeling found.

Vampire eyes

I seen U with my vampire eyes, swore I saw colors for the very first time.

Amazed at the sights and the sound of the words, especially the ones not spoken but still heard.

The smells that arose from your flesh made me shutter, caresses my body, my soul, like fresh bread and sweet butter.

Place your mouth on my neck, taste the salt of my skin, enjoy the moment take it all in.

Leaving a magenta mark in color, lick your lips and savor the flavor as though this were the first, had no other.

Tongue over teeth, gently do not bite, but induldge in delight.

With desire did struggle and feigned the fight.

Wishing you would hoping you might, turn me right now and both take flight.

Eagerly grasp and straining to grope, convince me its right I know you did hope.

Emerald eyed are the vampire eyes, the ones you gaze into, gazing back in disguise.
