Yesterday Too
Yesterday, I returned to
Poppy's Garden
It was a beautiful Spring day.
Flowers were in full bloom,
Their essence filled the air.
For a moment, I was taken
back,
Visions of the past flooded
my mind,
Once again, a little girl, sat
on her fathers lap,
Softly reading to her, from
the Childrens Bible.
Always leading in a certain
direction.
Many lessons were taught
there
He has molded me, into the

The Gift Of The Maji (Bble Poems for Children)
Three Kings followed a star,
Studying the heavens from
afar.
They knew the king would be
born,
Sometime in the early morn.
In Jeruselem they did meet,
Asked about a baby so
sweet.
They saw a star ever so high,
Above a stable, in the sky.
This is the saviour, born on
earth,
Honor him with gifts and myrrh.
They had a dream from God, that

Crystal Pools
As I gazed into large
glowing eyes
clear as crystal
shining like diamonds.
I was caught off guard
my protective shield
was down
for a time I was lost
in their beauty
swallowed up in the
moment.
Opaque pools of water
inticed me
I wanted to wade in
feel splashing
around my ankles.
Get wet, be taught to

Calming the Storm (Bible Poems for Children)
Jesus told his disciples, come with
me,
By boat, we'll sail across the sea.
He slept on a cushion, in the stern,
The salty water, made his eyes burn.
As he slept, a storm began,
Sweeping, could not see the land.
It threatened to swamp the boat.
Very hard to keep it afloat.
The wind was blowing it all around,
Capturing the boat with an awful
sound.
The disciples afraid, the boat would
sink,
Screamed Save us, save us, do you

Her Drummer Boy
Once upon a
time
a very young
girl
started
searching
for her
drummer-boy.
She came
in
contact
with one
thinking
this
is he
not so.
Time passed

Traveling Light
As I continue on my journey
I'm beginning to travel light
Preparing myself for tomorrow
the distance is out of sight
my suitcase is old and tattered
backpack is old and shattered
shoulder bag is not leather
imitation, I do think
waters of clear crystal
how I long to drink
threads breaking loose, unravel
many steps left to travel
so many things are idols
I don't need anymore
I'll understand it better
when I reach the other shore

The Garden of Eden (Bible Poems for Children)
The garden of eden, was made
by God,
Adam, the first man, to ever
trod.
Beautiful trees, and plants
grew there,
Adam was happy, without a
care.
Tree of Life, and Knowledge
too,
Planted, in the garden grew.
The tree of Knowledge, God
forbid,
Do not touch, or he would rid.
A lost paradise would occur,
A magic kingdom, all a blur.

Last Night's Dream (Somewhere In Dreanland)
In the silence of the night,
My mind soared in flight.
Sprouting wings as I went,
I felt heaven spent.
Floating on a silver cloud,
Where this world is not
allowed,
Soaring to heavenly heights,
This trip, pure delight.
Gaining altitude, on my
way,
Searching for a brighter
day.
Higher, higher, to the
light,
