The Sweet Cry of Baby Lyndia
This event brings a bundle of joy to Mommy
And Daddy to hear the cry of baby
She’s the long awaited princess
That finally decided to show up
Baby loves to cuddle and to be caressed
She loves attention and to be on top
Of everybody’s list
At times, Baby tights her fists
Like she’s about to poke or punch someone
She throws and kicks both feet in the air
To scare off the imagined nightmare
Baby loves indeed a lot of attention
She cries to keep her parents on their toes
Baby is indeed very bright, she knows
Believe or not
How the world functions
How to undo the knot
And how to take actions.
The sweet cry of a baby

La Mort
C'est un phénomène,
Elle nous emmène
Où elle veut,
Quand elle veut.
Elle fait son adieu,
Au moment le plus inopportun,
A l'heure où Dieu
Rassemble ses défunts.
La mort est toujours une surprise,
Une peine qui jamais ne méprise
Ni les pauvres, ni les riches,
Ni les lycaons dans leurs niches.
Elle nous tient par les mains,
Nous accompagne au dernier chemin,
A notre dernière demeure, au cimetière,
Comme une chose, comme une matière.

Understanding the Hieroglyphs of Your Heart
Sweetheart, frankly sometimes, I can neither read,
Nor comprehend the hieroglyphs of your heart.
Incidentally, I try to follow my instincts, the heat
Of the moment, and the sweet smell of the burning seed.
You seem to change at will, anytime, like a chameleon.
At times, you bring me to the point of reaching the wrath of the lion,
And other times you toss my belongings in the den.
It is difficult to cross with you, the path that leads to heaven.
I call you Ms.Thermometer for a variety of reasons:
You make me hot, warm and cold. You burn my heart.
You drive me crazy: days and nights, and all seasons.
Sweetheart, what should I do to reach a good solution?
What God should I love and worship to understand your part?
I am lost in time, and I am helpless in the middle of the ocean.

Express Your Conundra
Breathe, call me, talk, speak, and yell
Express yourself, quit giving me hell
Whisper, hum, sing, complain
And shock me; your words will not sink in vain
Through the pipes of my ears
Tell me about it, talk to me about your fears
Teach me; inform me, converse with me
Please make my life easier and my nights easy.
You drive me crazy when you don’t express yourself
A world without words and signs is senseless
Describe the landscapes, the skies; do your best
Okay, you are free to begin your sentences with f
You can say it, express yourself, and talk to me
Mum the words, say something, anything
Use your tongue to beautify the hills and the sea
Blow me kisses in winter, summer and spring.
And never be afraid to make mistakes
Humans were born to err

Mon Dieu, sans arrêt, il franchit et sépare l'eau en deux;
Certains voisinages ailés passent à quelques mètres de lui;
Les caractéristiques et les organes sont les mêmes;

The Smile That Rocked My Heart
The first time I saw your adamantine smile,
I thought that I was having a panic attack.
My mouth was hermetically shut and packed
With feelings that I could not limn with style.
I was short of breath, trembling and speechless,
In front of this light, in front of this image.
I could not fathom that in this day and age
That an étrangère could have made me so powerless.
I was rocked, blinded and hypnotized. I was possessed
By a mysterious spirit that I was ashamed to call:
Love. Because I know that she can use her prowess
To turn her victim into something very small.
And I also know that love at first sight can be nocuous,
Toxic, volatile, explosive, and unpredictable like death.
Don't get me wrong; overtime, Love has the stealth
And the stamina to make life incogitable and wondrous.

It Is Your Smile…
Woman, let me demystify you,
So I can see why I love you
So much.
Let me search:
The curves, the preserves,
The gardens and the reserves,
So I can understand
Why every second
That you flash in my memory,
The chemical formula changes in my body.
Turn around;
You're safe and sound.
Let me examine you from head to toes:
Touch your nose,
Cover your cheeks,
Do some tricks,
Try to fake it,
Walk, run, stop and sit.
Oh! I'm beginning to see:

The Heat Between Us
It is not too long ago
That we were swimming
And diving deep in a heated pool
Of passion; a reminder of a first day of school,
Where all the marbles fell into place: the ego,
The joy and the happiness
Of two hearts sharing
And loving each other;
Two eggs enjoying
The warmth of a nest;
Away from a cool April's shower,
Under a large thatch.
Time came and swiftly snatched
Far away from us, the hot flavor
That once ignited the combustion motor
Of our inner feelings.
For Heaven's sake,
The pool is now a wondrous lake;
Let's go back and let the stings

Tu me rends chaud, tiède et froid.
