Jusqu'au moment où le ciel n'est plus étoilé;

Give a Drop of Reason to Peace
The wild clouds
Are traveling
In the firmament.
The missiles and projectiles
Are bursting the profile
Of many innocent people.
The children
Are crying on the benches,
And their moms
Are suffering miserably.
Big and expensive guns
Are devouring mountains,
Valleys and cities.
Where is the love,
Amidst all these killings,
In full fury,

Dans le firmament bleu clair;
La lune du midi est souvent inaperçue;
Elle est mystérieusement subtile.
Elle enregistre les choses utiles et inutiles

Peripheral Beauty
The train was zooming by,
When I saw her like a veil in the sky…
She was strolling in the street;
She was immaculately neat.
It was like a dream;
I wanted to scream:
Oh! God, Oh! Beauty,
I just peripherally
Saw the most beautiful woman
On earth! She was way gorgeous than an omen,
And prettier than an April bouquet of flowers;
She smiled and laughed like no other creatures.
What a Joy! What a Beauty!
What a treat,
To have mnemonically photographed such a woman,
Who smiled like a Baby,
And who educed a warm dropp of rain
From my right eye,

Money Ain’t God
Money is not God,
Albeit good health and great wealth
Will put a commoner in the position to afford
The most luxurious amenities on earth.
God is wealth;
Good health
Is the richest gift
That can be bestowed on a chief.
Money is like a gaud;
It is a fraud
To think that money is God.
A King or a Queen, without good health,
Is sinking at the bottom;
He or she is dead, indeed worthless.
A penniless pauper, with great health,
Is wealthier than one can fathom;
He or she is darn blessed.

Not Like Any Other Color
This is no joke
This is no egg-yoke
Black is not like any other color
Black has its unique beauty
Its own charm and splendor
It is the color of the reality
It is the absence of the sun
It is the exile of the moon
Black is the last color
That we will see before crossing the border.
Black can be positive
Or negative
Depending on someone’s perception
Interest or observation
Because of ignorance
And lack of experience
Many neophytes unfortunately use that color
As a scapegoat, as a traitor
Who can stab in the groin or in the back

In Heaven, Color Does Not Matter
In Heaven, color does not matter;
There, there is no money, no color,
No hypocrisy, no quandary, no beauty,
No nepotism, no size and no celebrity.
On earth inequality reigns,
When it pours, it rains,
When it rains, it pours;
Different weather patterns
Warrant different types of doors
And different types of lanterns.
In Heaven, these are not necessary,
The temperature varies very often,
Every holy minute and divine second,
Keeping counts will be silly and crazy.
Believe me, there is no limousine
For earthly and mundane stars;
Everything under the screen

The Last Coup De Rideau
The last time
That you left
Prima Donna, you were in your prime
It was like death
You were as bumptious as a peacock
And I was an injured fighting cock
A badly disabled rooster
A shamelessly humiliated warrior
Who needed a Savior
An amateur social worker
To guide me and to show me the way
Instead, you fled away
Like a passing Canadian geese
You left me drowning in tears
I was incredibly sad
And extremely mad
Things happen, I guess, for a reason
Now, it is a new and different season
I have gone great length
To gain amazing inner strength

Fleur De Saint Valentin
Tu seras naturellement fanée alors;

Happy Valentine’s Day, Sweet Love
Sweet Love, February 14 is a special date
That Romeo and Juliet celebrate:
Love, Flowers and Chocolate;
On this special occasion,
I have some thoughtful words for our union:
Because of the recession,
I cannot afford to donate
You ostentatious gifts,
Nevertheless, I want to tattoo your cheeks
With kisses of hope and happiness.
In your itsybitsy nest,
I want to hide my heart
Hermetically in your hands,
So we can never be apart.
I want to offer you
Everything that I have in my view:
The prairies so we can get lost,
The mountains full of frost,
The sky so you can see your beauty,
The sun to keep you warm and cozy,
