The Forsaken

A gathering burst of a darkened sky
A standing tree in a deserted aisle
A silent stream in a screaming soul
A lonesome man on the lonely tree
The sun resigns and the moon declines
A star wipes away a tear as another falls
A grieving father with a mouth wide shut
A shouting out of a broken heart
A bended will to a noble plan
An undeserving man with the killing nail
A piercing through his mortal sides
The world's weight on a shoulder sagged
The guiltiest frame of a triple stand
Innocent indeed of all charges laid
Guilty indeed of the sins of the whole
wide world
I did them not but for you I did
My heart is broken, your sins are mine
What have you done? , I take the blame
Oh, this is hard, where's God, my dad

A Lot

Sitting in a bar alone I thought
Pour me a drink to drown the pain I bought
My mind played a tape in my memory lot
All that has been will not be forgot
Life is hard, had been the plot
Take me home, this life is naught
For what purpose, have wars been fought
And to what end, have I been brought
The past is past, think on it not
The past quietly laid his bed in my memory's parking lot
Joy is rare and pain I've bought, yet here I'm brought
My summer's cold, and winter hot
Days are lonely, nights' the same plot
David was a girl's dream, and now he's walked
To where I know, to whom I know not
But one thing's sure, we were good, now all is lost
Time was mine, and memories caught
But who am I without you in my hut
Just a while I had a smile, to retain it with life I fought
What is this and all this hurt

Nag

Waltzing down street Mulberry
Barry and his noble steed saw Cherry
A pretty butterfly with blueberry
He took out his heartberry
And saved her face as sweet cherry
Cheery Barry danced in Mulberry
Love had come to maul Barry
Sweep him off his feet, his eyes stary
His hers, will you marry me?
Cherry married Barry in festivity
And made him merry in longevity
Time had come with activity
And left love lame in passivity
Less witty, less sweety, just Cherry
In poverty, lack of love and serenity
The time had come to maul Barry
Barreling him down with quarreling
And worrying and murmuring
Barry had in time learned to drown her voice with:
A crumbling rumble in a tumbling world

Fog

Groping.
It's day.
But it's night.
I'm on the floor.
My body aches.
Not really.
It's my heart that's broken.
And my mind that's split.
Why am I alone? .
Why am I here? .
It's brightly dark.
I feel it.
Can almost grasp it.
The darkness quietly growing inside of me.
The strange one on the corner frightens me.
But I like him.
'Do it', he says.
'Just do it'.
I drink from the floor.
I'm dead thirsty.

Love Out Loud(LOL)

I love you
It starts with those three little words.
Those tiny little butterflies in your darn
gut.
What the eye sees, the heart wants.
You let yourself fall so easily.
With nothing left to break your fall
Someone should have told you that
when you fall
A hand's gotta catch you.
Darn it! , nobody said it was easy
Nobody said it'll be tough either.
You're in love.
His laughter penetrates your silence
Like drunken men find flaws in science.
He couldn't be more perfect
The one you waited for your whole life.
You're happy.
Fulfilled.
Complete.

A Round Table

He was told killing people was a wrong
thing to do
He got angry one day and killed
someone
The people killed him to teach him a
lesson
That killing people was a terrible thing to
do.
She loved a man with all her heart
He was married to a woman after his
heart
She stole his heart and broke her heart
Years had walked, she owned his heart
He met a girl whom he loved and gave
his heart
She sobbed & wondered why people
took what belonged to another.
I know I did wrong, but hey I'm human
Flesh and blood, bad as they come
Lord forgive me, and ignite thy amnesia

A Love Story(The King And I)

Once in time, there lived a king
Who lives still, nor ever could die
Who lived neither in space nor time
But made them both alike
For his queen to breathe and move
While he watched from not so far a distance
As she danced and played, and laughed and ached
He loved her so, and longed to show her so
Born by love, she sought for love
In all the wrong places and all the wrong people
While all the while the love she sought
Was in her, was by her, was for her, and with her
The time had come for her to know
The one who indeed loved her so
'I am God', he said, I love you so
And this I did, and that I did, to show you so
I'd love for you to love me too and show me so
Let me in, and make me your king or something in between
She took him in, and became his queen
And him her king and so much more

The Point Of View

Nothing is as it seems
No thing is as it is
We see nothing that we need to see
We see everything as they seem to be
Some things are as they're deemed
But really everything isn't what its
deemed to be
Sometimes no time seems the best time
But most times this time is the only time
'Be what you want to be', they say
Is what you want to be what you're
made to be?
Made to be? Huh?
'Aim for the sky and defy it'
A snail crawls his days and yet is what
he's made to be
What do you see when you look at me?
Wait, again I ask
What do you think you see when you
look at me?

As I Am...Was.

No, I don't. I could never think that.
No, I won't. I could never become that.
No, I will never be...like her...Be her..
But..
I became her and now I
And I write these through her beautiful dead eyes
She..
I..
Am a bad girl who often does good
I am a dark heart which sometimes pores light
I'm alone in a sea of blank faces
In a world of hollow graces
Loneliness walks with me all my crooked mornings
He's dumb but his lonely eyes ask me how I feel
'Lonely', I replied
No one to talk to, or who really breathes love into my heart
My heart...
Once loving, once caring, trod broken
Now dead. I'm numb..dumb, and the Crumbs you crushed over to reach your true love...
...which is never me...
