God’s work is most perfect

Lying in bed, weak and still,
Victim of an unknown ailment;
My mind looks still clear, I think well,
Of things seen, unseen and Godsent.
Man’s achievements in Science looked good;
But dullened, his conscience stood;
He was after greater glory!
Ignoring God, I felt sorry.
I saw the Master Sculptor’s work,
Which was amazingly perfect;
No doubt, His was the very best;
Our earthly tries, I now detest;
God knows whatever man can do;
His Creator, Man can’t outdo!

God is at Work...

When winter’s barren twigs
Get clothed by leaves all green,
And buds that blossom forth
To flow’rs that turn to fruits...

When barren bosoms spring
With signs of new offspring,
Which Nature does with ease,
And bliss on earth, they bring...

When human efforts fail
Containing some disease,
Miraculous cures come
To ones that pray to God...

Just trust in Almighty
To get things done on earth;
The Omnipotent God
Is loving, caring Lord.

In Life…

Go on ahead;
Fear no one;
The honest can
Ev’n reach the sun!

Accelerate,
On road aright;
Perseverance
Gives soon limelight!

Listen to what
Your conscience tells;
Do not mind if
The world still yells!

Fear Almighty,
And be righteous;
Success smiles with
Blessings bounteous!

The First Christmas

The love of God was born on earth
In Bethlehem’s outskirts;
When baby boy and new-born king
In manger, had just cried;
Among the hay, swaddled in clothes,
Amidst some animals,
As mother Mary prayed beside,
With father Saint Joseph.

And thus, was born the first Christmas,
That brought joy to the world;
The babe was to be called Jesus,
And die upon the cross,
For all mankind to gain heaven
By redemption of men;
Oh, what a lovely day it was,
The first Christmas on earth!

Doctor's Day In India

Though once a year comes Doctor's Day,
Let us celebrate it;
‘A noble profession', all say;
Accolades, let's befit.

All doctors must improve health-care
Of world's sick/suffering souls;
Let doctors toil for sick-welfare,
Assuming varied roles.

The world needs better doctors more -
A dedicated lot;
They form the health-providers core -
A sacrificing slot!

May doctors work most selflessly;
May patients benefit;
May doctors serve them faultlessly,
And heal all, bit by bit!

A Deaf-Mute

A deaf-mute brings a cup of tea!
A cup of tea with love so rare;
Love uncommonly seen, I stare;
How do I thank her for her charity?
Often by her mother chided;
A servant in her own house, unpaid;
A deaf-mute, she remains, since birth!
Wearing a smile and full of mirth;
A face quite content to the core;
I want to love her all the more;
My heart with anguish wants to cry;
For unfair things, men often try;
To scores of deaf-mute creatures,
God, a DEAF-MUTE, Himself remains!

Happy Friendship Day,2010

This day has come to tell your friend,
“Our friendship must last till the end!
Renew our ties and make amends;
This bond of love pays dividends! ”

A friendship good isn’t bought or sold;
We must secure it howev’r old;
The fire must burn, glitter like gold,
Bestowing happiness untold.

Let friendship good last till we part
From earthly life, mind, body, heart;
Let’s sustain it by every art,
And keep it fresh like from the start.

Spare your Baby, Lady!

A wee little baby,
Turning in your womb;
In a bag of water,
In slumber unknown.

It has life like your own,
And has emotions;
It is your progeny,
Waiting to be born.

God has sculpted it but
Birth is not its right;
In a world of chaos,
Will it see daylight?

It is your own flesh, blood;
Waiting for your love;
How can you be cruel
To your baby now?

Adieu, Dear Doctor!

Those years you served additionally,
Managing RTS,
Will be a boon and blessing soon,
In future days, I guess!

You did your job quite well indeed;
Records will prove the truth;
Your service will be recognized,
And bear you much good fruit!

Despite the many problems, still,
You held on to your fort;
The time will dawn and you will sit
In chair of more comfort!

I thank you for the help you gave
In time of urgent need;
The Lord will bless you in future;
Your toil will sure succeed!
