Forget your wants;
Ignore the world;
Follow God’s words;
Prepare your soul
For eternity!

Made in image
Of God holy,
Man must be pure
Follow God’s code,
To enter Heaven.

If man be part
Of God holy,
We must depart,

Let children feel loved this day;
Let babies all have their way;
Let children eat, learn and play;

I rock in a chair,
In a room all bare,
With my unkempt hair,
Without any care!

I breathe dirty air,
Dressed in summer-wear,
Attempting to pare
My nails as I stare!

Oh, What if I dare
To run like a hare
Or walk like a bear
Or charge like a mare!

There Are So Many Things

About which I can’t do a thing
I fail to understand
I dare not say a word
I can’t tell someone

I can’t know something
I am curious to learn of
I love to know in depth
I conceal but can’t

I like to opine but
I want to share with friends
I hate to tell others
I yearn to know the truth about!

Garden of Soul

My soul’s garden must grow those plants
And trees and shrubs that yield good fruits;
Sin grows like weeds that stifle growth
Of virtues and more vices grow.

The grace of Almighty God comes
Down on soul’s garden as sun, rain,
As virtues grow in more numbers,
And sin-weeds turn a scarce member.

What’s Christmas?

Christmas isn’t buying new toys;
Christmas isn’t wearing new clothes;
Christmas isn’t eating good foods;
Christmas isn’t sending great cards!

Christmas is sharing what you’ve got;
Christmas is giving those without;
Christmas is showing God’s love to
Poor, downtrodden, unlucky ones on earth!

Read the word of God and act;
Bear your cross and follow Christ;
Reflect upon your sins of past;
Renew your fellowship with Christ.

Through Virgin Mary, reach Jesus;
Develop your bond of love with Christ;
Pray that this year passes on well;
Win the war against satan.

Ash your body;
Wear sack-cloth;
Fast and abstain;
Reconcile with God.

Ask forgiveness
For sins past;
Pray fervently
For soul’s grace.

Meditate well;
Open your heart;
Offer your life
To Jesus Christ.

Humble yourself;
Ask God’s help
To lead a life pure
Obeying His code.
