SOUL’s Worth!

A human life is worth
Much more than many beasts’!
The soul of man is priceless,
Compared to any life.

A soul is worth
Much more than
All treasures on earth!

So, keep your goal,
Keep your role,
And, keep your soul,

By walking in the Way,
In the Light,
In the Truth
Always-
That’s Jesus Christ,

THE ONLY WAY

Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb

Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, frisking along;
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, bleating a song;
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, wearing fur-coat,
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, looking so bright!

Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, eating green grass,
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, let me first pass,
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, grazing so nice,
Wooly Lamb, Wooly Lamb, what a surprise!

I Think, ...

I think, I think some things bit uniquely;
I think, I ink some things bit differently;
I think, I link things bit mysteriously;
I think, I wink and blink like most others!

I think, God wants me to think differently;
I think, God wants me to ink uniquely;
I think, God makes me sink my grievances;
I think, God bestows on me nuances!

Happy Pongal,2012 (in poem)

May harvest crops of rice and sugar-cane,
Raised up by human toil and sun and rain,
In cooking-pot well blend with milk, honey,
To boil over bringing joy, health, money!

May Pongal kolams show this in great hue;
May clothes anew and festivities too;
May Maker bless humanity full view;
May Pongal show our faith in God that’s due!

My dears…

Lend me your ears;
Lend me your eyes;
Lend me your words;
Our attitude, we must mend.

We must make amends;
Sometimes, we must bend;
The stalemate must end;
Our faults, we can’t defend.

To our patients, we must well attend.
On them, we all depend;
They are our Godsend;
Our ways, we must wend!
Let smiles and laughter, the air rend!

Thank God

Thank God for things that you had done;
Thank God for things He has undone;
Thank God for health and long life-span;
Thank God for His mercy and love!

Thank God for His blessings so far;
Thank God for His guidance in life;
Thank God for keeping soul quite pure;
Thank God for all the woes and joys!

O thank the Lord and praise His works!
He has been kind to us aft'r all!

God, Give Me Back My…

God,
Give me back my joy;
Give me back my good friends;
Give me back my good old days,
When I was just a boy!

God,
Give me back my peace;
Give me back my will-pow’r;
Give me back my piety,
When I had no disease!

God,
Give me back my heart;
Give me back my faith / hope;
Give me back my love of Thee,
Which I had from the start!

The End of Things

Like how the candle-flame starts sputtering,
And light from it grows taller, flickering,
Man’s pride with arrogance seems frightening,
Whenever defeat is sensed that’s gathering!

A dictator’s end takes him by surprise;
No wary man can avoid its onset;
All good and bad things end someday, somehow;
The storm will usher calm despite delay!

Doctor’s Day,2010(acrostic)

Doctors are a noble lot
Often misunderstood, a slot
Caring for the sick and dying
They comfort the anguished and crying
One true noble profession, world envies
Really doing yeoman service
Sacrificing precious time for patients’ sake

Demanding not much in return
Always ready to save lives
Yet, the world seems dissatisfied!
‘Happy Doctor’s Day! ’

Happy New Year ’09

Happy New Year naught nine!
Let’s hope things will be fine;
Let’s work harder and shine;
Let’s dance, sing and drink wine.

Let peace come to all towns;
Let love dwell in all homes;
Let wars never happen;
Let’s fight terrorism.

Happy New Year naught nine!
May God bless all nations!
May love fill hearts and minds;
May earth turn paradise!
