God’s Ways!
God gives His people beloved,
Some problems added in their life;
And if they don’t improve their hearts,
He gives them some more extra strife.
If they neglect the God Most High,
He gives them tribulations rife;
And if they do not heed His word,
He gives His rod and knife!
God’s chosen people can’t escape,
Into a world of vice and sin;
God sees that they obey His words,

Be Soul-Wise On This Special Day: 11/11/11
Build a church for God within your heart
Erase all stains of sins of past, present
Confess your sins and ask God to pardon
Atone for trespasses of every kind
Invoke God’s blessings and His grace
Welcome the Holy Spirit to reside
Renew your ties with God and Jesus Christ
Resolve to do good deeds and never sin
Decide to walk in heaven’s road always
Remind yourself to keep your soul pure
Recite the rosary to save sinners

The Modern Kid
Born abroad and growing strong
Away from home and motherland
Growing in cosy environs
Pampered by parents, neglected
Loner lost amidst high-tech toys
Craving for love and tender care
Glued to the idiot-box, web-world
Autistic and having own ways
Throwing temper-tantrums for things
Reckless, careless and mischievous
Aping adults, taking all risks
Eating fast foods with fashion fads.

In Lent-time
Open your heart to God;
Move towards the Lord;
Obey His every Word;
Strike holy an accord.
Perhaps, this is your last
Chance to atone for past
Sins; so be rather fast;
Before in hell, you’re cast!
Let Holy Spirit in,
And grace reside within,
Without a trace of sin;
Say often, ‘Amen! ’
Do more of charity;
Live with more piety;
Lent is a rarity:
Prepare for God’s city.

A Prayer to Lord, Jesus Christ
O Lord, I want to walk with Thee,
In Thine footsteps to Calvary;
And share the burden of Thine cross,
Thou carried for our sins, Alas!
O Jesus, I must talk with Thee,
All life-time in my life earthly;
Receiving wisdom heavenly,
To tread the path of Thine glory.
O Christ, I want to follow Thee,
To Thine abode- Eternity,
Avoiding sins that hinder me,
From seeing Thee Lord, finally.

Water
‘Water, water, everywhere;
Mostly unfit to drink;
Rivers, lakes get polluted;
Nobody seems to care! ’
‘Fresh-water is scarcely found;
Most mouths, much land remains so parched;
Much water seems to go awaste;
Whither our earth is bound? ’
‘The glaciers, ice-caps are melting;
Gone down are water-tables;
Fresh-water is sold in bottles;
To where are we earthlings heading? ’

God Abhors Abortion Always
If you believe in one living God,
If you believe in His profound love,
If you believe in His love of life,
If you believe in His gift of life,
If you believe in His fair judgment,
If you believe in His great mercy,
If you believe in His protection,
If you believe in His creation-
You will never, ever abort a child!
For, God creates life and is pro-life,
And God abhors abortion always.
