Stall Your Master
Stall your master one day at a time
To achieve a greater state of being,
But only one day at a time.
Cry not today, nor the day after,
Instead, stall each day with laughter!

O Flowers, What Spectrums You Impress On Me
O flowers, what spectrums you impress on me!
From feeling glee, to deep despair, and finally ennui-
But you are only flowers, nothing more,
And I am but a beggar at your door.

Atop a Mound
I sit atop a mound,
High above the ground,
Contemplating time,
Listening for a sound,
Then I start to climb,
All the way back down,
Down, down, down,
To the grassy ground.

An Old Widow
An old widow sat by the light of her flame,
Waiting for someone, but nobody came,
Then the wax began welting 'neath the heat of its wick,
Till her candle had dripped to the end of its stick.

I Am But A Flower
I am but a flower
Placed upon your bed,
Romantic in this hour,
Beside your slumbering head.
Ah, more divine am I
Than a springtime shower,
Though soon, my love, I'll die,
For I am but a flower.

The Tubes of Time and Memory
Don't become discouraged when your pith has turned to porridge,
For it happens to the best of us, you see,
Then you're placed back into storage for another face to forage,
Inside the tubes of Time and Memory.

Stumped
I slump upon a stump,
Beside a clump of moss,
Pondering the universe,
Life and love and loss.
Then I hear a 'thump! '
Another tree has fallen,
And all throughout the forest floats
A fog of spores and pollen!

Our Only Fate
I have no epic tale to tell, no wisdom to impart,
My life has come full circle and refuses to restart.
There are no flagships coming, no sense to celebrate,
There's no parade or masquerade - just death - our only fate.

Home
Home is my oasis, where I go to get some rest,
When the harsh and unforgiving world has taken all my best,
So under that dark dome of night I scared and lonely roam,
My spirit seeking, hunting, prowling- howling for my home!

A Mysterious Prodigy
A mysterious prodigy is playing the keys,
I dare not make movement, I'd better not sneeze!
He plays with white gloves, and tails on his coat,
The intensity is making me slit my own throat!
Then he lulls me back into delirious dreams...
