My Green Mile

I found god in my Great Grandmother's eyes
where only the truth lies
dreams come to reality
in a heavenly playing field
no tricks no lies
no tall tales of a kiss goodbye
protected, safe and warm in grandmother's arms
puts my soul to ease, eyes lit smile
knowing on my time I'll see her again
when I walk the green mile.

Blind Fool

I lost it and it cost me
I let it take hold
this is where it got me
walking blind fold

My insecurities brought me here
I saw the signs: Beware
but I refuse to take notice and tackled on
now here I am,
Finally taken off the blind fold
stranded in the middle of nowhere
a place where only fools reside
alone with my pride

A Wrong My Right

I do right to have wrong put upon me
I do right to have problems spat upon my face
I cry not of sad but of a beautiful song
for all the wrongs place in front me
I smile a joy so strong, from now til not long
to the next, this life will pass on
I do with all my might to disperse a beautiful
flowing poem, never to wither but live on

my moral may not

Lost purpose
Hours on end we scavenge
what is unknown, an itch
a yearning

right place, wrong time
right place, right time
blind

Eyes open, sight beyond sight
lost, found, not to be forgotten
beauty in a dream, nightmare's gone
new vision, approach of reality
beauty finally seen

I Said hi when I meant goodbye
It's not a lie, not do I lie, just a rare truth
Is not even that I like it when you cry
Just an uncontrolled smile

You suspect, I evade
You react, I sustain

A noose round the neck
A river flow, blood red
Joys torment,
A gentle push

Vow (The Leap)

If you cry, I'll cry
crocodile tears, my fears
if you lie, I'll believe
try so I may see
show so I may feel

Believe, if not in you and me
in us, take a leap,
faith, feet first
allow me to lead
with a bended knee

You're not ready I know
nobody ever is
but we got this far
let's ride it out
take this leap with me
only if you believe it's real

Fairytail Memory

Fire flies light up the night sky
beautiful figures dance all so gracefully
that song, that enchanting voice
those words kept me safe
the hugs kept me warm
someone wiped away tears
held me near, dear to their heart

can't describe it but the joy it brings
these are the things which live in my memories

I know this to be true

Beautiful Creatures

The soil which we plant our seeds
beautifully dangerous, remarkable creatures
strangely complicated, a delicate rare breed
shelters, nurturers, the definition of strength and warmth
crazy-sadistic, seductive-angelistic beings

Women, all one of a kind
incredible, intellectual, beyond and between the lines
pain and hardship they endure
apologies that at times we're blind
self-worth, the world is what they deserve
