A Solitary Dreamer

I

In a solitary cell
Enclosed in a prism
My thoughts dwell
A soul in prison

II

I wish to transcend
the dreams of dream
and in spirit ascend
the light to God's gleam

III

O! the cells of the brain
have their limit
for my reason to blame
why my intellect's decrepit

In the twilight of beauty thy bathe

In the twilight of beauty thy bathe
Thy slender soul gaunt and grave
With solemn peace thy soul lay
Alive and well between night and day
So gracious thy art to me divine
Everything beautiful and never mine
Subtly pervasive thy cool my fear
As thou art the license in my sultry leer
Dressed in gray, delicate as a dead flower
Thou art the love of my ethereal hour
The love of me my love's name
Gilded by desire and polished in shame
Deceptive and strange thy take my breath
For my love, my love, I love thee to my death

Morbid Thought

Morbid, thou bloom, in dark colored flowers
Growing in earth's most hidden bowers
Fed by the darkness of eternal night
Morbid with my expression with darkness unite.
Kept from the eyes of human sight
Morbid thoughts thou possess in silence discreet
Boiling in the dark thou brew dark deceit
Infecting thy stalk and morose lathered leaves.
Thy grief herself laments that her own soul grieves
Tempting myself, but thou darkness deceives
Your own beauty and its dark colored flowers
Growing in my soul's most secret bowers.

To thee there is no reason just a mood

To thee there is no reason just a mood
That dwells in you, and dwells in me
Causing the muse to sullenly brood
How this love was born or came to be
An infinite of mist, and nothing clear
Each cloud a thought of mysticism
For romance to lay, and song to play
To each soul of keen criticism
Thou art miracles and art beyond realistic
Perfect ideals in one's mood manifested
An aesthetic feeling, in poems artistic
In beauties potion, by love wrested
Thou art mystery to thee and to me
Thou art the secret of mankind's poetry

Thy Flame Burns and Chills Me Cold

Thy flame burns and chills me cold
Thine youth young yet too old
Thy pain, a pleasure
Thine poverty a treasure
Thy love hath to much hate
Thy ordinary ability is profoundly great
Thy rage with wrath with so much equanimity
Thy honest word is tainted with duplicity
Thou art easy when thou art mad or hard
Thy face so beautiful, although it's scarred
Thy heart is weak, but beats so strong
Thou art always right even when wrong
I do not understand so I understand
I love thee for a mad man loves what he doth not understand

A Heart Spring

One tear today, one love tomorrow
My heart springs from everyday sorrow.
A light blue, a scarlet red
into my soul those colors spread.
The hand of love me clench then said
‘Your sorrow is my love, my love your sorrow
to this I pledge and to this do wed'
Then my love cried with rain in my head
And declared to me that sorrow from joy must always borrow,
so one tear today can be one love tomorrow.
My heart sprang like the flowers in spring,
as her voice sang, that beautiful thing.
To sorrow, to love, to joy I sing…..

Pistil Of My Poem

Beneath thy tremulous leaf of thine heart's carpel,
Sentiments of pollen adjoin love's stigma
Where thine ovary and ovule mature into love's enigma
And seeds flower into fascinating fruit.
To smell its sensuality and become unknown to me
Myself and thee, in thy pistil's mystery
Ambrosial and fragrant we be rapt thy scent
And fast we love, by thy heart lent
The elixir of my poetry, the passion of mine garden
The place where am Born and sweetly bard in
My love the pistil of my poem
In thy heart my heart my poetry is shone

Pensive Thought

Your youthful beauty found peace on your face
As thy wandered the path of love of the past
Effeminate and innocent where love took its place
In the memory of your heart, where your first love last

Pensive thou long in love's sweet air
And think of love inundated in potion
Thy look so grave, in its grave thy stare
With all your love, in love's sweet motion

My heart knew then, that thou heart I wear
The look of my love, forever and soft
When thou pensively dream with out a care
My love raises with thou pensive thought aloft

Wayward I live my way to thee

Wayward I live my way to thee
Capricious as Cupid, my arrow pierce
Thine amorous heart, lonely and free
Enamored by desire, desirous love fierce
Thou become a wanton slave
To desires pique; to desires rage
Thine heart sinks, into my arrows grave
Locked in passion, in mine molded cage
Delusional thy follow, my romantic whim
Into my fire of love, into ardent lust
Where art souls burn and our hearts swim
Till they whither into gray ash of love's dust
Forgotten by the morals of humanity
Slaves of love's lust most empty vanity…

Beautiful Music

my heart can hold so much love
But thou love unfold all my love that ever loved
I cannot listen to thee without love's majesty
Royal are thee, in perfect symphony
Thy music takes my heart, my heart does not take thy music
Underneath thy breath is breath's secret beauty
The song thy sing to all and to me…
Is God's message painted black in notes sweetly
God's only answer to millions of years of futile prayers
All my love is gone lost in thee, the music thou create
Man's destiny, man's passage of fate every heart beat thou ate
