Sonnet # 398

As like no doubt the appetite`s behavior
That asks for food when it has had food had
Does kill all wants of food becomes its hater
Only to later come; wish food `gain bad.
So`s the desire of intercourse all know
That when it`s satisfied knows not the flesh;
That e`en with Venus to bed would not go,
But then does come another day strong, fresh.
Thus is my love for all the human race
That weak becomes when I see people`s worst
Only to come, lo, strong like mother`s embrace
When I see people`s best, like mad a thirst.
So I go low and high in this my living.
Somtimes I laugh and others cry sad giving.

Sonnet # 335

Just look at liberty in her wide eye,
And do all what you wish come from your heart.
Your husband now no longer gladness tie
To you, and things are coming wide apart.
So go somewhere where happy you can find.
Things that go sour they sweetness don`t regain.
If every married one to bad would bind,
Marriage would lose its good and hell`d cantain.
Thus hey, I am someone who does like you,
And if you like me, too, let`s start a bond.
And if, my lady dear, we love do strike,
We honor it, to marriage we respond.
But, please, don`t say we only marry once.
That makes the heart and mind look like a dunce.

Sonnet # 313

Mary the little girl of my human dream
Is daughter mine by way of tearful wishing.
I play with her and playing makes her beam
In the places of my mind when musing.
She`s pretty, bright, polite, and quick in helping;
Dark skin, gree eyes, black hair, and teeth so white.
She plays the piano, the guitar, loves reading.
She`s sweetness in her voice that does excite.
She gladly sings and writes good poetry,
Almost fogot, she very well can dance.
And she`s just young the age of six plus three;
Not quite that time when pretties do advance.
So this`s my daughter, pretty daughter Mary.
That ne`er the world did know a sweeter honey.

Sonnet # 243

Oh, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas time!
Give me my wish before my time to die.
Please, Christmas, listen to this sonnet`s rhyme!
Give my my wish, for it I here sing high.
Make peace on earth, and ever it to stay,
And illness kill; make happy children`s faces.
Make all the world be glee in eternal day
Where love we love and love all human races;
Hunger no more and poverty made dead.
For time the first make mind agree with heart,
And no more tears of sadness to be shed.
And from this bliss the earth ne`er to depart.
If some do laugh, but still many do weep,
Please Christmas, hear; the world its pain does keep.

Sonnet # 337

Each morning bright I children see delight.
Each morning dark I children see sad crying.
The mornings bright`ve milk, bread for appetitte.
The mornings dark not e`en water for drinking.
Each night, lo, bright I happy children see.
Each night yes dark I children see so sobbing.
The nights bright`ve beds for when they`re asleep sleep.
The nights are dark not e`en a floor for resting.
So I as if I`d plenty of everything,
A palace my small room, my clothes all gold
Do come to feel I have too much of spring
When there`re children to misery they`re sold.
And then I litte eat, think have a feast
And look at children who their food has ceased.
