i have to live with the bruises

Beautiful scars!
intricate drawings cut into her skin
they tell of tales of the little blue kitten
her skin so raw from the scars trying to heal
she can't get away from the hurt she feels
she feels the need to cause herself pain
but every night she cries again

I look at old pictures
I watch my days pass by
In reality I'm not happy

I want to be able to smile and mean it
I'm tired of faking everything I do

When will my parents see

tired of you playing with my head

the last and final tear falls

I hear things go bump in the night and they jostle me awake
I can't sleep now though because all I see is you still

I lost you last summer
I couldn't believe it
Everyone said you'd leave
But of corse I was stuck in the middle
I lied to and I know it was wrong
I don't love you anymore
Now that you're gone
I fell in love
with a boy from Missouri
It's been five months today since we started
I love him so much
I thought I'd never love again
