My Lord Is Always Joking At Me
My lord is always joking at me.
When I asked for a bicycle
he gave me a car.
When I asked for a computer
he gave me a mobile phone.
When I asked for a book
he gave me a pen and a pad of paper.
When I ask for money
he gave me some trees.
When I asked for a bedroom
he gave me a house with a garden
that has many flowers....
My lord is always joking at me!

Of Course
of course, I love you
but there's nothing I can do
when I have to leave beside you
we need food and shelter
so I have to go to work.
of course I have regrets
but there's nothing I can do
when I have to act right away
I'm the only one who can act
so I have to be brave to rely on myself.
of course I am full of hopes
but there's nothing I can do
when sometimes I feel weak
I'm only human
so I have to seek and find
inspiration.

Salt
Early this morning
his mother asked his father
for some money
to buy salt.
But,
his father refused
and hit his mother
who did so much talking.
The boy
went out the house
and headed
to the market.
There,
he begged the salt vendors
for a little salt
but the vendors only told him,
'go home boy, and get some money! '

Hari Ng Musika (edited)
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at tila nababasa mo
ang laman ng aking dibdib.
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at iyong musika
ay tila gamot
sa aking kalungkutan.
Oh, Hari ng musika
anong kapangyarihan meron ka
at iyong musika
ay tila isang kamay
na nagtutulak sa akin
sa pangarap.
Oh, Hari ng musika
sa iyo ay aking hiling

Goodnight
Come my little darling
let me sing you a lullaby
as we watch the starry sky
on this breezy spring night.
Come my little darling
taste the sweetness of this peach
as I continue my harvest
on this fine summer day.
Come my little darling
let me hear the reason why
you have that gloom in your eyes
as the autumn colors fade
in sunset.
Come my little darling
let me kiss you gently
as I hear you say goodnight
on this cold winter night.

How Can I
How can I
watch the sunrise
when my heart is in deep sorrow
of not seeing you
How can I
listen to the songs of the birds
when my ears are yearning
to hear your voice
How can I
smell the fragrance of the flowers
when I long
for yours
Tell me
how can I go on living
when you've taken away
the whole meaning of my life
and that is to be with you

Queen
I am the queen
of my own little kingdom
my palace is small
and my crown is not glittering.
I have no knights
or even servants that serve me
but I am the queen
of my own little kingdom.
I only have fishes
and turtles
and flowers to care for
and children too.
You don't have to call me
'your highness'
or even bow your head
in front of me.

Lord Of Music (Hari Ng Musika)
Oh, Lord of music
what power do you possess
how come that you have known
what is inside my heart.
Oh, Lord of music
what power do you possess
how come that your music
have made me forget
all the pain in my heart.
Oh, Lord of music
what power do you possess
how come that your music
have made me dream
to reach for the stars again.
Oh, Lord of music
I beg you please
oh, please

From The Same Tree
From the same tree
there is the good fruit
there is the bad fruit....
From the same tree
the good fruit goes to the market
the bad fruit...to the soil.
From the same tree
is the reason for the lonely farmer
to wake up each morning
to see how the fruits grow well...
and is the reason for the lonely farmer
for not winning the heart of his beloved
who prefer the city life
From the same tree
there is the good fruit
there is the bad fruit.

In The Foreign Land (Sa Banyagang Lupa)
In this foreign land
is where I live.
Here,
I am blessed
and never had
been hungry.
But,
to the land where I came from
is where my thoughts are.
I beg you not
to say anything
because in my heart
is already a great suffering.
I beg you also,
not to ask me to go home now
because I cannot bear
