A Daughter You Always Wanted

i know you're near,
watching from above,
making sure,
i'm who you wanted me to be,
or maybe more?
do i make you proud?
am i everything you hoped?
maybe more?
i don't want to let you down,
so when i fall,
i get right back up,
you didn't raise a quitter,
you've raised a winner,
everybody likes me,
nobody want to compete with me,
you have a strong girl,
who stays strong through tough times,
i may fall but,

this world is filled with hate
can you relate?
you get placed under a label
would you agree?
life is unfair
how do you deal?
people say things
what would you do?

change the way you think
why should it bug you?
people are itches

if you don't understand,
than shut up,
if you don't seem to care,
sit down,
just sit and listen,
to what i have to say,
and what i have to go through,
if you only seen my life,
you would know why,

No More Pain

this pain i suffer,
is worser than prison,
not much time off,
no matter how good i am,
at times i wonder,
will i ever get a break?
from this place call life,
that i can't really stand,
fighting through,
the pain and suffering,
is rough,
not a day goes by,
that all i want to do cry,
for a life i can't have right now,
that's all i want,
is to have fun and to be me,
or close to who i was,
but, life don't happen that way,
i quess that why i'm hear to say,

I'm Learning How To Be Who I Want

i love how you let me be me,
and yet you stop me,
before it goes too far,
i love how you have that control,
only because i'm just learning about my control,
i like that i can feel safe,
and open up about the stuff,
that had bad memories,
someday i hope to make good memories,
but in order for me to do so,
i must deal with my past,
deal with the painful memories,
that leave me afraid to try and love,
i'm tired of pushing ppl away,
when they done nothing wrong,
but it the only way i feel safe,
safe where nobody can hurt me.

Jerks

there are times you showed you cared,
than there were those times you pushed me out the door,
making me wish i wasn't here anymore,
only because i didn't feel like anybody cared,
you seemed to be helpful when i needed you the most,
but, times when i was telling how i felt,
you laugh like it was a joke,
and i seen you as a jerk,
everything i've been through has not been easy,
it doesn't help when you turn away,
knowing i'm bearly hanging on,
from really being gone,
doesn't mean a thing,
only if i'm not where i'm suppose to be.

what i want,
is not agreeable
but, does it matter
how i feel,
i just want to be happy,
i'm tired of being a slave,
