An Arabic Woman & The English Countryside
I am neither a Celtic,
Who lived in ancient Britain,
Nor am I an Arian,
Or a Normandy whose ancestors
Ruled England for a while,
And the blood in my veins
Do not go back
To the Germanic tribes
Who invaded England,
And mingled with the Celtic
In the savage old time.
Nor am I an Immigrant of any kind,
I do not belong
Either to the patient Indian men,
Nor to the Pakistani
Whose fathers helped in
Paving roads for the underground
That connects the lanes of London,
I did not study or lived there

Daddy
Daddy
Daddy,
What a beautiful word to say,
I yearn for your handsome face,
I long for your daring thoughts,
A quarter of a century
Or so, have passed,
Since you passed away
Ah, dad can it be true
I still miss calling you,
By what made your fame,
By your very first name,
Cuddling you,
As I used to do,
In the old good days.
Since you left,

Sufism and The Skinny Old Horse
As I was walking by
"Al Hamra" sea shore,
I saw a skinny old horse
Pulling a Cinderella like
Carriage, and is led by
A thin young boy,
There and then
I could not but stop both:
The boy and the horse;
I reproached the boy
For not feeding
The horse well,
And for forcing
Him to work as well,
Tears dropped from both;
The horse‘s and the boy's
Eyes. The tears were dripping
Like rain,
I felt like crying too.
Yet, my reason

Is Desire a Phoenix? !
Is Desire a Phoenix like;
A being so strong,
Yet so fragile,
I wonder? !
Then, what makes it die,
And what brings it back
To life;
To survive
In a rather overwhelming way?
Hope they say,
And I should be able,
By now, to know
That hope is a great factor
That can make desire revive,
Hope… in sharing
Our emotionality,
Physicality,
Intellectuality,
Beside SPIRITUALITY,
Can undoubtedly bring

Exeter Too? ! But America Wins
While I was walking
In your calm lay
Beside that bay,
Tears were dropping
Like a shower or rain,
My eyes could not
Stop or Hold;
Can a dove control
A group of hawks.
Its time for
A final farewell, then,
Well…they say:
History repeats itself.
Betrayal was the end
Of my Love for you;
I truly loved you
Believing you are clean
From the inside

Black Magic
Black magic
She sat erect,
On her pink chaise longue;
The mixture of girlish
PINK
With the classical touch
Reflects her unique
Deep and funny
Character and taste,
Tears were dropping
Like rain from her smart,
Daring, but Innocent eyes,
A middle aged woman
Who did not kill the child
Inside;
Didn't I say
The mixture is unique
Just like her life;
The tough experiences

‘Aywa’; Oh Yes: Iowa
On the Green Silky Carpet,
Bride of all brides,
Walk slowly and Proudly,
On the Green Carpet,
In a low voice,
I heard myself singing,
With trembling lips,
I was singing calmly,
After a year of continuous crying,
But I am no body's bride,
And I intend not to be so;
My bridegroom was pushed to go;
To leave this life a year ago,
To leave me dreaming
To continue the journey;
The road
All alone,
Just a week before our union
Could have taken place,
And I exclaimed:

True Love and ACTION; Love Is Deed (How To Truely LOVE a HERO)
To Manal Saigh: my niece who inspired me
to put my feelings about 'Cartoon Crisis' into words:
Ah me! LOVE
Is a sensitive,
And such
A delicate being;
It is a flower
In need for a shower
Of many a thing:
Words and care,
Not only gazing;
Though gazing
Is so glowing
And nourishing
For LOVE,
But it is only so
In the very beginning.
