Moon All The Way
Through the darkness of night,
behind the branches of deodar,
he peeped thru, O Moon, the only
source of gentle light!
One side there was deep ditch,
another was hill tufted with trees,
in between these two me and the moon's
tender light! He tiptoed all the
way, the moon of Mussoorie.....
The green dark leaves in silhouette,
swayed to say, good bye to me.
They disappeared after a long period,
But, the moon followed me all the way! !

A Caterpillar
A Caterpillar wanted a bridegroom,
For that he started to groom.
At once decided not to shelve,
He suspected she might not be an elf.
Because he feared his dear friend,
Perhaps would prove foe at the end.
She was a little singing bird,
He hid himself when she sang, he heard.
He cocooned his body, with his own net;
He might not be saved after a bit late.
He thought he shouldn't take a second try,
Because, it's not the time to be butterfly.

Don't Put Blame On Me
Don't put blame on me,
Neither on my tender heart
It's your baritone voice
That played the staple part.
It came like an age old hymn
Or the utterance of a priest
An ancient recital of first love
That I could not resist...
Billion times are spoken these
Eight letters of emotion
But as you said i compelled
To break my mental prison!
Three key words thus unlocked me
Set me free in the sky.
Like a sea hawk I am flying
High and high and high!

One Day A Hungry Fox
One day, a hungry fox,
Saw a high vineyard.
It was full of sweet grapes,
He might not have, he feared.
They were hanging in such
A height, that he jumped
And jumped, but couldn't get.
He had to remain starved,
Again he jumped, and jumped,
And went on jumping ever.
But all his efforts were in vain,
He failed to touch that cluster.
Being upset, he got angry
As he wasted his hour.
Before leaving out of pain,
He said--Grapes are very sour!

I Don't Know
I don't know what works
in me, when you laugh...
I write on my heart
my own epitaph.
I hear your voice and
then that obsessed I
only think of love,
feeling my long sigh.
When you tell, you won't
leave and miss me lot.
The word possible,
should not stay in thought!
I know, how to nurse,
life, home and hearth first
I hugged my life with
earnest zeal, with thirst.
I can not meet you,
I'll stay far away,
as you are on earth,
I'm on milky way

Did You Forget?
You come everyday,
as my night's dream..
When you come, my
heart fills to the brim.
My sleeping eyelashes,
quiver and eyeballs swim
in the sea of unknown
country with your whim.
You stride with me
in my every walk.
In my joyful days,
as my wistful luck.
I know, it's a mirage,
in the desert and
nothing but a reverie,
of day in ocean of sand.
You forgot me, and
forgot forever so to say-
Did you forget me really,
that you forgot my birthday? ? ?

In This Middle Hour Of Night
In this middle hour of night,
It seems I'm well now,
As a cloudless sky...
My drawing room is filled,
With friends, we are laughing,
Talking, sharing jokes...
I'm very fine, in this middle
Part of night, the waking
Ghost, the talking skull,
Besmirched once is now
An age old rubbish of bean-bag...
We threw it in the garbage,
As the gutter's dirt.....
No, no devil's past slang!
We are now, praying for our soul...
At the end, we will have ambrosia.
Amen!

No More Voyage
No more voyage,
No journey.
I'll sit here,
In the cozy lap
Of my room.
The first ray of the
Sun will drip
In my winter-nibbled
Decaying heart!
I'll knit a scene
Within, day and night.
A hut, the shady coconut
Trees, my quiet yard,
The ever-flowing brook
Underneath--all will
Tell me the story of
Happiness...once upon a time
There was....a lass...
Do not ask me to get out-

In That Goleden Evening
In that golden evening,
and in this magnetic night,
what did you give me,
was full of hypnotic light.
The moon with her golden boat,
came down, down, down to earth.
Nature with her never ending
cascade chuckled with mirth.
We were set on fire, though
we couldn't touch each other.
As you were in Mars and I,
was on the lap of nature mother!
You kissed me with your ray
of soothing lustful desire,
Me? soaked with moonlight,
drank the kiss with ardent dire!

Merry-Go-Round
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Up in the sky.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Soars me high!
Breeze rustles,
cloud's castles,
Roam round and round!
I shriek in false fear,
Seeing the thing near,
which I never have found.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Brings the fun to me,
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Fills mind with glee!
Moving round, round,
Touching the ground,
Almost kisses the sky.
Merry-go-round, merry-go-round,
Takes me up in the high!
