Sea, Mountain And I

I went to sea many times..
watched the waves, the
virgin islands, I loved
to walk on the sand,
of the far-stretched beach....
I swam and bathed with wilderness,
but, I couldn't love any sea.
I see everyday, the mountain range,
as if they stand in meditation,
with Pines, Oaks, and Birches
tufted with their loving hearts!
The curtain of mists opens up,
with the first appearance of,
the mild ray of the Sun...
The tops of the trees smile
and greet the world and
bow to the creator for all
for them He has done.
The dew-wrapped wet leaves,
stuck to my moving toes...

Dark Man

I was in deep, profound sleep,
Suddenly, I heard a quick knock.
I got up and rubbed my eyes.
And oh! it was a great shock!
In thin darkness, I saw a horse-rider,
stood near my semi-dark door.
Who are you and whom do you come for?
'I came crossing the ocean's shore,
to take you there, to king's court.'
The thunderbolt voice replied, then.
Out of sheer fear, I reclined to go.
'I'm at my days end, nothing to gain-'
Told I but, no reply from his end came.
He turned back, and signaled to follow.
Mesmerized I leaving everything
rode on the horse, and bore the wallop.
How long the horse galloped,
I could not tell you all...
The night fell to days lap,
and at last the waning moon did fall.

Princess And The Black Horse-VIII(Fight Between The Good And Evil)

In the den then what happened, four
of them came close, and all spoke low.
The Prince told them, how to use the
power the princess had, and she did show.

The queen, also had a Conch which could,
tell, the distance of a foe, whereabouts
of him, in river, seas, and in oceans he be,
it could clearly would say, beyond all doubts.

There was darkness everywhere, though the sun
wasn't under veil, the light was barred there,
to play the art of black art, to spread it among,
the commoners' mind for long, layer after layer.

The queen took the conch near her ear and asked,
'O, my Conch, tell me dear, my enemies of enemy how far? '
A twinkling sound rang in the Conch, and came out,
a voice saying, ' He is now in his castle, not go for war.'

Midnight Falls

At the day's end,
I reckon, and find,
That my credit is blind
A colossal zero is thru to engulf me,
And my emptiness gets intense,
As if a mythical bird has gobbled last ray
Of the sun from the sky and thus,
Drops evening in my yard.
The impending night licks,
The left over of the fading light;
From gloomy leaves of the tall trees;
Then I take recluse as one
Who adores to live in an island to be plowed,
In quest of night....
To sail the boat to accompany me,
In the unexplored sea.........
On all a sudden, the night jumps on the earth;
The trees, the bushes & the shrubs tremble
With unscrupulous fear;
A blow of strong wind reigns,

Princess And The Black Horse(Final Fight-I)

And they decided to start the fight at midnight,
as the wand would work then with brilliant spark.
To unriddle the mystery of dark reign of magician,
they had to kindle the light, to annihilate power dark.

Evening called night, and night sat with blackness,
and darkest became the kingdom of prince's father.
The princess, promised to call him, prince of light,
as dark denotes, night, blackness, evil power, rather.

The King opened a box of story, which told princess,
theirs was the kingdom of Light, full of peace, gay.
It was said, the sun never sets in his happy kingdom.
But, a magician came to that king's court one day.

He played trick of black magic, and covered the sun,
blocking the rays of the sun, he set his own reign.
By his power of witchery, he made the king a lion,
turning queen, to lioness, the prince a horse in chain.

Princess And The Black Horse -I(Journey To Unknown)

It was a faded moonlit-night.
The wood near was very dark,
as it was too thick, dense so,
You won't see if anyone does lurk.
The princess was riding on her horse...
along the lone pass of the wood,
her father was usurped from throne,
then in captivity, she only did brood,
How to retrieve her father's honor,
and give him back his crown!
She needed the aid of neighbor king
and the help of his army around.
The night was getting dark and dark...
The howls of the wolves were heard.
The world of light, fun and frolic,
wasn't there, she was without guard.
Ah! the horse stopped as, he was afraid.
His harness bell rang breaking silence,
The princess asked -'Blackberry,
dear, why are you frightened hence? '

A Mermaid On A Dolphin's Back

It was midnight and our ship was in mid-sea,
All were asleep, none there on deck except me.
The sound of the sea water, blowing wind I heard,
I was thinking then, when to go homeward!
Suddenly a musical note passed into in my ear,
Dulcet I might call it, but that put me in fear.
In the semi darkness, I noticed a very queer scene,
A mermaid with half fish body sitting on a dolphin!
A gossamer robe was on her glossy fair skin,
Glyptic band on her golden hair was vividly seen.
They rose up and down and almost touched a rack,
She was the beautiful mermaid, on the dolphin's back!
They were whispering in a very low sound,
I could hear as, there was no roaring waves around!
Her long cloudy locks were swaying in cool air,
Dumb stuck I stood as there was no crew to share!
The mermaid with her fish like bright, tinkle fin,
Embraced earnestly the neck of the cute dolphin!
The moon was walking, with his shiny silver shoon,
The flakes of the clouds wrapped the moving moon.

Princess And The Black Horse-III(Dragons' Isle)

Blackberry soared high, high, h-i-g-h above the sky.
Through the clouds, they were passing though,
they didn't get the scorching heat of sun!
He tried tirelessly to flap his wings so,
they could not be scanned by their enemy below!
The princess fell fast asleep and slept all the way!
He spotted a silver brook, running pertly as lass,
along the sandy land, around the part of the bay.
He felt thirsty and wanted to quench his thirst.
He darted down and gave a gentle shake to her.
Princess rose from that happy-happy sleep and
asked, 'Have we reached the place crossing our bar? '
'No, no, princess, we have to go miles miles more,
quench your thirst, as we won't find on our path
no more water, you know dark night snatches away the
power of wand, we don't know if it will have its worth! '
Then the princess kept rosy feet on that very land.
With two soft hands she drank water, at her own sweet will.
Suddenly, she got appalled to see imprints of toes on sand.
She shrieked and said, 'Oh! Blackberry, 'and ran thru the hill.

Princess And The Black Horse-II

The sun came out with smiling face,
from the horizon of deep blue sea.
The sky became as crimson red,
They crossed the blank-blank lea.
There they met, a good wizard,
he listened her all history.
Gave her a magical flower-dust,
which he kept in a hole of a tree.
They had together, the sunflower juice,
and drank the dazzling ray of the sun.
Her Bird-horse, ate too all which she had.
They set out, as before the day did burn,
they had to reach friend's kingdom.
She took the dust, and the wand with her.
Rode on the winged-horse and bade good bye.
'Blackberry, fly fast'-She whispered, in his ear.
'Yes, Ma'am, 'it seemed the bird answered.
The breeze was rustling, bright was the noon.
The princess was afraid, could she reach,
his father's friend's castle so soon?

Princess And The Black Horse-IV(Isle Of Dragon)

'O, O Princess, this place unknown, inmates may harm,
come back, dear, we have to save your father's life.'
He followed her and going far reached at a cave,
where thick bushes, and weeds, clambers only did thrive.

What did he see, just imagine it's beyond our reach!
A dragon with his fiery mouth, was gasping fast.
The princess there was watching him as mesmerized.
The dragon seemed as if ill, in sporadic dust.

He noticed scars all over his wounded skin.
The dragon then signalled them beside to sit.
A bluish grume was coming out his scarred body.
Excited was he that they could hear his heart-beat.

Softy Princess, in keen sadness, uttered sotto voce-
'Oh! my Gosh! save good dragon with thine power! '
and took out dust that could cure fatal bruise,
(the wizard told) and put that on for an hour.
