Doors

Towards the slumbering door
The key is buried in the viscera
I await to be stripped naked
Fervently contending against
the hymns of silence
I am ready to try
To swim to endlessness,
To gyrate with the sways,
To pick from the galaxies,
Without any certainty
Of where the passage leads
But what else is to be done
But to open the closed doors.

Death Star

Like all temporal musings,
a gyratory wind
on a ponderous vacuum -
the shrilling symphony that whets
the dislimned filigree
donned upon my elusive stars
fulminates from holding the floodgates
and when it succumbed
to its ghastly call
and basked in
fire and ice
its soul is devoured
now a death star
tight-roping with empty words
and vacant eyes.

Myopia

You were far
When I needed you near;
I was heartless
When you needed a heart;
You talked
When I needed you to listen;
I unraveled less
When I pried deeper.

We are dazed by love
Tormented by anguish
And defeat
Is our only creed.

We were
On the same page
But never
On the same edge.

This is how it works

Letters To A Dove

Tea rose your lips
Ashen is mine
Cradling a blue flame
Your ether and dime
Linger in the lines
Of clean desire
Nonchalant of their
Green doe-eyes
From the innocuous
Absent stare of mine
Foreboding treachery
Unfaithful child,
Serendipity is
Away tonight -
Moon and sleep away
With the letters
Sent to a dove
Futilely, we malinger
For the light of demise.

The Yielding

Crossing the chasm of reality,
I mire myself in gilded fantasies;
where do I look back?

I wrapped myself in flames
and burn to ashes
before I fade away

and as I brew the ennui
of the downpour above me
I wrapped myself in rain
flushing out the colors that worry me

Pulling roots and picking stones,
fragmenting poignant dreams and bones;
where do I go from here?

To The Meandering Lion

Paws scorching the ground
leaving a rivulet of fire
a map for the meandering

Illustrious gilt of a skin
tawny as the sun's sheen
euphoniously sewn to the bones

And your proud head
bobbing with an arrogant crown
and roaring with a subtle clout

A steadfast monolith in the cracks
of the brittle bones and incendiary sand
I want to be who you are - meandering in blithe

Awaken

With the clouts hurled behind
your sanguine impositions
I have awaken completely
from the dream that you people
injected into the antics of
my ponderous comatose, but
those knuckles can only bleed
and break against the steadfast
concrete wall of my quiescence
accepting your jabbing filth
like how I had always been
before your star crossed
my misanthropic detachment.

Pintuan

Paparoon sa natutulog na pintuan
Ang susi ay nakatago sa kalamnan
Naghihintay akong mahubaran
Walang sawang lumalaban
Sa saliw ng katahimikan
Handa na akong subukan
Ang lumanggoy sa walang hanggan,
Ang gumiling sa pagduyan,
Ang sumungkit sa kalawakan,
Walang kasiguraduhan
Kung saan ang pupuntahan
Ngunit ano pa ang kailangan buksan
Kung hindi ang nakasaradong pintuan.

Fester

I am a winged fester
Flying for a good weather
Perching to writhe and wither
All that roosted under:

Jeweled lover,
Tigress and panther,
Drunk and sober,
Tired of hunger.

Touch my hands, bold robber
And watch me pilfer
Your death a caper

Touch my hand, lewd dancer
And watch the macabre
Become my reaper

I am cursed to err
From all that I held nearer

Time Is Away

The muses paid no attention
to the mountain's obeisance
it knelt, it pleaded
for their trifle contempt

The night drifted
with wings of vengeance
I linger with hopes
and other destructions

Where were you in these times?
My banquet awaits
for your godly demands
and my hands grew insipid
outdoing mistaken errands

Time was away
musing elsewhere
and the culprit is
our larcenous yearnings.
