Vaporous

I would like to learn how stars scream
with scintillating swords and sing
with the same fatal stroke

I would like to learn how the sun goes alone
loftily sundered amongst other quasars
burning passionately for no one

I would like to learn how clouds come and go
maladroitly reconnoitering the weather
and evanesce without a thought

I would like to know how the moon shifts
and still regain her stalwart repose
amidst her inconsistencies

The Perfect Vengeance Is Suicide

The blood spilled on the page
Unforgiving with stale stains
Of blazing vengeance, betrayal
And overweening pride
But amends fell in a vertical line
A taut brawl for the sake of memories
And rue lingers with your zephyr breath
And never will I commit to the same mistakes
Back to the glassine veneer, I meander
Hoping that these last words
Is suffice for you to remember
That you will always be
A great part of me
Let's not ruin
The end of it.

Drunk As A Dancing Beacon

The rose-wine spell rummaged through my throat
Like a whimpering roar that was latched inside
To fulminate and erode with the cloying sea wall

The ghastly and suffocating genocide marauded
The glacial stillness of the breathing dungeons
Close enough to poke the wearily groveling heart

Heaven subsided and the afternoon sun leaned
Against a quivering pillar sundered from the beacons
Prancing with their shadows whilst I muse in inebriation

Black Bruises II

I can ponder upon the blackness,
the garrulous of silence
placated by benign solitude
I can endure the ostracizing
listening to lulling lullabies,
listening to trembling metals,
listening to enraptured echoes,
listening to a soundless shattering,
listening to nothingness,
listening to guffawing crows,
listening to diffident clocks,
listening to the waning time;
but am I the only one listening
to these black bruised whispers?

Tigress

Downtrodden, heavy steps
make lambent sounds
for calculated leaps
prying, hunting, terrorizing

Your coat of fire
worn with scars
and fiery prowess
veiled in feline grace

Your purrs, your roars
are eloquent songs
that the jungle resonates
as it ablaze in your colours

Hide and sleuth,
search and hunt,
and when you find it
slaver mad and proud

Immortality

Lies of forever enwalls my vision
My vision of lucid illusions
Illusions of deluded memories
Useless memories of my visions

Inhibitions suppress my advances
My inhibitions are boundaries
Boundaries of real from fantasy
Fantasies of distorted reality

Forever is just a lie
For all is bound to die
We can never say ‘never'
Probabilities of possibilities won't err

My skeptical tongue tied
Strangled with this mad hope
Interlaced with immortality

Stockholm Syndrome

You're a cellar, a dune, a pit
And if my sparse body can fill you in
I will suffer gladly, you can have me
With your knife in my guts
I'll bleed everything if I must

This felony, this amity
These strings knotted badly
Must you let go your hold on me?
If you would ask for it,
I would, with denied grudge, submit

I would miss the kiss
Of the cold pistol's lips
And the tight embrace
Of the rope in my scrawny arms
And your stares, they need me.

Fata Morgana

Sworn into secrecy
We waft in the air
With innocuous wings
Slicing the horizon
To reveal what we are
This mirage,
This esoteric mesh
This loud silence
Venting through the fringe
With all the colors
Of the blackest stars
With streams in our eyes,
With candles in our palms,
Who are we to judge
The meander of hearts?
When we are astray
From the very start
Cling onto hope
Cling onto fear
Cling on with you lissome hands

A Person inside the Idiot Box

A doll of mud
Halcyon smiles
Of synthetic vim,
Glacial tears
Devoid of empathy
What are you?
My jaws grind
As your voice cracked
With the lousy static
What a farce slapstick.

You are a fraud
Stealing hearts
All the hasty pounding,
All the famished breaking,
And despite of the grandeurs
Of your personal convictions
It is out shadowed
By the flashes
Of fame and puppetry

Spider Web

I meander in ponderous roads
with my tarantula feet -
a forthrightly crowd
that these silver ribbons
sang like violins
with melancholic notes
descanting oblivion

Because the roads
slithered perfidiously
into a coiled writhing circle
but no one recognizes
the superfluous threats
imposed by blitheness

The lambent steps
ruptured from a lambaste
ricocheting to rue
until the terse sound
dissected its own echoes
