Please Return My Feeling
Please return those loving feelings that I gave to you,
you have no right to them, now that we’re through.
You took them with you when you walked out on me
and never even considered where they ought to be.
I need them back, and they shouldn't be with you
I only gave them because you gave yours too,
and now that your feelings have long since gone
please send them back, so I can move on.

Paper Kisses
Please don’t write me a letter
filled with words of love.
I don’t want your paper kisses
with ‘I miss you’ written above.
What I do want is your presence
and the comfort of your embrace
along with your sweet kisses,
and the smile upon your face.
Don’t send your love, bring it
and show me how you feel.
Look into my eyes and tell me,
and I’ll see that your love is real.

I’m Sorry If...
You overheard our whispers of tease and seduction,
and our love playing out its long introduction?
Our deep heavy breathing and thumping hearts,
the noisy bedsprings, the stops and the starts?
The ecstatic sounds of our love and passion,
and the to and fro of our interaction.
I’m sorry if...
We kept you awake through our night of love,
and hope you slept until the sound of the dove.

A Stranger’s Kiss
As strangers we met and kissed
beneath the harvest moon.
The flow of your sweetest life
warms, as if a sunny afternoon.
We lift each other to extremes most high
as the clouds darken your dreams,
but still you gave and sustained me,
with your life flowing stream.
And now I give you a different life,
where you can drink life’s wine.
Like me you now depend upon a kiss
on which our master must dine.

A Mouse’s Tale
I was forced from my accommodation
and went to live in a field of grass.
I dug a tiny hole in the soil
and in it I began to relax.
Later, I dug the hole much deeper,
so as to escape the winter cold.
The snow and rain passed over
and spring began to unfold.
The green grass turned to barley
and I really enjoyed living here.
My home was ploughed up yesterday,
that’s twice in less than a year.

Too Hot to Sleep
When the night is hot and sticky,
and you’re troubled by the heat,
just think about the penguins,
with no socks upon their feet.
And think about the cold waters
where they swim out to feed
trying to avoid the waiting sharks
with their insatiable greed.
Would you like the life of a penguin
instead of being cosy in your bed?
Or would you like to dodge the sharks
and be nice and cold instead?

Astonishing
You’re truly a long bottomed beauty,
a real sight for sore eyes.
I’ve never seen one quite like you,
you’re so alluring you hypnotise.
Your curves are sleek and amazing
and beg to be traced by touch.
I could sit and watch you forever,
you provoke desire and lust.
You are such an elegant mover
a definite cut above the rest.
If only I could get my hands on you,
you would be sailing at your best.

Lonely Times
As another long day comes to an end
I face another lonely night without you.
This is the hardest time for me
because lying awake is all I do.
You fill my thoughts of how it used to be
before you went away.
The first time we met and our first kiss,
I replay our life each day.
The day we had our first quarrel
we both broke down and cried.
It's these memories that make me sad
as much as our last goodbyes.

Blessed
God took you from the darkness
and blessed you with light.
He took the fresh morning breeze
so you would have it day and night.
He took the sparkle from a new star
and placed it in your eyes.
With the moon's glow he touched your face,
which your complexion testifies.
He took the warmth of the brightest sun
and placed it in your heart,
he shared it with your mesmerising smile,
and this was just the start.

Chemical Attraction
When our auras connect
I lose my rhythm and go out of sinc’.
I’m getting so tied up in knots,
my brain just won’t think.
My head’s in a state of chaos,
thanks to this chemical link.
My hormones are in disarray,
and they’re driving me to drink.
My sanity and heart are in conflict
and they’re skating around love’s rink.
I’m drowning in an ocean of emotion,
how much further can I sink?
