It's Cooking? [crossword VII]
A screw lost
From a machine gun
Which shoots inks
On a loner's bread
As lions give credit to
A magi of a tagline
At a toll
In Omaha
Top dosage was given
To a dope
Who dozed off
With the iceman's ax
And a chorale crooning
Pertaining to a doe swimming
Admist a coral
That has elm trees
Growing amongst it
With weasels
Making it their residence
As an angora goat

Drunk On Poetry
Poetry surges steadily
Through my veins
I grant it to stream through them
Day in and day out
Sleep and awake
I believe it's a healthy obsession
I get drunk on it
The more I inject in me
My mind thrives on poetry
My soul thrives on poetry
I become addicted
Sometimes I absorb too much poetry
Reading, writing and listening
I become drunk sometimes
Poetry spills from my pen
Inking a piece of paper
And unto another and another
Constantly on every thought

Poetry Sings
When poetry is anger
It sings to me furiously
Like thunder clashing into the Earth
With vigorous authority
When poetry is comfort
It sings to me gently
Like a mother's touch
Soothing her child from an afflicting pain
When poetry is bitterness
It sings to me harshly
Like back stabbers leaving another
In the cold, because they can't handle the situation
When poetry is driven
It sings to me energetically
Like an underdog, whom start to finish
Strives itself to victory

Licking the Chops [1930 slang]
Just copped a fraughty issue earlier in the bright
Need to feel murder
So I air out to jam with the jacks
This early black I jump in port
Passing several yard dogs
And a couple of pounders
Before arriving to the joint
Once I get to this frolic pad
Rock Hill Night Club
The cats are frisking the whiskers

Television Is Not Your Friend (Television)
Television is hypnotic and addictive
You become mezmorized and hypnotized
Your TV manufactured from pixels of
Red, green and blue
It flickers high rates of speed
You're bombarded with
Fast moving electrons
It siezes your brain away from you
These subliminal waves seal your eyes
Transmitting cerebellum broadcasts
That decieve
you get an epilectic-type reaction
This high rate of TV flashes
Effects the mind
You become reposed
And there's less brain activity
You're not wrecked by visible rays
But invisible radiation
'It's the best control mechanism
You can think of '

Chicago [1920's slang]
Left my dump, off to the [Gourmet Cafe]
Ankling it, no need for a hack
I'm a johnnie walker
Stopped a bit to jaw a little
With two wiseheads [Jess] and [Carrianne]
Before work
As we discuss how one of their coffee-and-donut doble
Keep klunking out on them
When I arrived
I poured me a cup of joe
Then took a powder
To find me an ameche
To arrange a get together for tonight
With my tight squeeze
I get back and drink the joe
Shortly afterwards I get jingle-brained
Then I threw a joe
I wake to find me in this heap
Someplace in a back of alley
And was being pulled out by three goons

Edisoned [1920 slang]
Just when I thought today
Was beginning to become a frog's eyebrows
Preceding the gansters episode
Surviving the Chicago lightning
And getting out of that dump
It bacame a Chinese angle
When hearing 'Grab a little air'
I get sapped with some nutcrackers
Then a couple of bean shooters
Are forced to my head
