Gratefulness
When the hungry children are fed with food
how they beam with a delightful mood.
Recall our teachers in mind
who opened our eyes blind.
The flora sad, if watered, stop to brood.

Smile
a stripling reels
and the sage tumbles.
When she smiles,
2.
at a snail’s pace.
the e-mails crawl
When she smiles,
3.
wriggle and fall.
When she smiles,
the circling stars

Tribal Students for Professional Courses
No takers for medical seats
from the tribes of the hilly retreats!
No winding roads there laid.
No teachers in schools to guide.
During polls, the M.L.A with fresh notes greets.

Smile to be a Villain
To see your smiling face I was keen
but hiding it behind your mum, you were mean.
Make open your lovely heart
bought from a heavenly mart.
Nowhere such a lively face I have seen.

Declining Sparrow Population
Sparrows chirp not these days with pleasure
as the Cells scare them in large measure.
Mobile Towers radiate
on the birds which meditate
to revive their tunes of earthly treasure.

A Sensual Voice
The callers feel a real kick
on hearing my sensual voice.
Their praise make my husband sick
for this gift of Heaven's Choice.
Shall I be a dumb to men
who call from beyond my ken?

Political Parties in a Democracy
The parties send their orators to speak
and bribe the poor for their votes to seek.
Freebies to all they give;
in palaces new they live.
They steal the public coffers in a streak.

The Computer Lecturer
The cute computer lecturer clicks
the 'mouse', and to get the 'Okay' flicks.
The mice eat rice and feel glee
and with the cat soon flee.
He showed 'jobs' for their virtues to nick.

The Graft has Got Independence
The graft has got much independence
and the greased hands demand reverence.
Put them in jails for long
to pass time with like throng.
To frame laws 'gainst it, who has penitence? .

Impeccable Manners
All are impostors a bit in this earth.
Seeking perfect people is nothing worth.
Mending of gaps in manners
one to one, makes us all learners.
'Live and let live' is the way to mirth.
