Los Angeles
Skyscrapers
Break the sky,
Smog chokes the air,
Endless buildings go on
Forever-
Los Angeles Times-
LAX,
Traveling down the 10
Towards Santa Monica,
Dirty
Filthy
Ragged city.
Where are the artists?
Poets?
Writers?
Musicians?
All at home creating
The city. Inspiration
For the willing.
Ugly, dirty, ragged,

Insanity (2)
sanity
slowly escaping me,
i'm trapped in my head,
i try to escape my mind
running thoughts in circles.
insanity is creeping upon me,
doubt running wild.
wind whispers something
i try to listen,
but the difficulty is
stabbing at my mind as
i slowly lose it.
my consciousness fading away,
my mind lost in time,
everything's ending,
slowly ending,
all is one and one is all,
never again to be found.

Mad Wolves
Wolves running wild
Beast and beauty,
Howling full moon instigates
The dead to rise above
And watch us as to
Try and cause some
Paranoid state so we
Don’t disturb their eternal
Bliss.
These wolves,
Mad wolves, brute in
Nature.
Howling at full moon they
Are transformed in beauty and
Beastly eloquent hunting manner,

America, The Dead
I can see it,
I can feel it through the mess halls
of the darkest and damndest ghettos of America,
Its truth moves me like a Greek tragedy.
Only this tragedy is the sad tragedy of the American project.
The project of unique individualism intertwined with a deeper collectivism.
Truthfulness, Character, Honor, and politics which serve
For the people, the power taken back from the highest given to the lowest and
given to all.
Yet it has not to be nor does it seem to be heading that direction.
Materialism, Militarism,
Greed and an undeniable nihilism deeply rooted in the
psyche of all who call themselves
America.
Alive, hopefully, is the fire which should be stirred not once more, but always-
For democracy is action, a way of life, not a state of ruling.
Yet through and through America's poorest parts,
And underprivileged,
From the blacks and latinos to the whites and the natives,
America has yet to have found itself.

American Youth
American youth,
Denied the truth,
Schools want money,
aint that just funny?
Hip-Hop was once
A scene preaching struggle,
And of self advancing in this
World of corporate bubble.
Now hip-hop itself has
become a sell-out,
preaching nihilist hate
and material well-outs.
Corporations cash in
On our youth's insecurities,
Now the truth has gone underground,
Where it is always pushed.
