Love Sonnet 23 Diamonds regale, in thoughts of being rare,
Diamonds regale, when thought of being rare,
In glints, beguiling, by the wearer's hand,
Hell conjures in many an envious stare,
If but this gem been plenteous as sand;
Yet quartz, may lay uncut for years,
Thereby, to hide its quaint beauty and sheen,
As though young love, whose luster best appears,
When lovers bare their true selves to be seen;
For love, is such delight for eyes that see,
A sweet feeling from which touch finds allure,
Loving is such bondage, where hearts are free,
Though not a bad habit one must endure;
......Gems mystify while men's mind deem it so,
......Like love that can fade out when hearts forgo.

Love Sonnet 30 My Love, We Ventured Deep In Raging Storms,
My love, we ventured deep in raging storms,
Have groped in fogs, plodded on snow,
Endured the scroll, aligned to rules and norms,
Would we then die in calm, as no winds blow?
For ships are stranded in such windless trips,
Like dormant love, with passion locked and zipped,
Should love pour grandly, or just dropp in drips,
Loosely held to fly, or killed tightly gripped?
Worst is when novelty has flown elsewhere,
Hearts grown familiar crave variety,
Or else, become too scarce, treading somewhere,
Tied in search of wanting satiety;
….So care that none of these laces your dreams,
….As we conduct love tried to the extremes.

Love Sonnet 44 Breathes there my love, lovely as nymph of sea,
Breathes there my love, lovely as nymph of sea,
Her cheeks rosy as skies of Summer morn,
While sunsets glow as long as dusk would stay,
She would radiate, long after stars are born;
When nights are overcast, devoid of lights,
The sparkles emanate within her eyes,
When good fortune withdraws all its delights,
Her smiles remain among the last supplies;
Eden could not be elsewhere but her side,
Where fruits taste sweeter coming from her hand,
Her lap, better than thrones men would deride,
Her touch magical than a wizard's wand;
.....Such love bequeaths its splendor to the times,
.....And fill a poet's heart with many rhymes.

Love Sonnet 50 Was it a year ago that I was blessed,
Was it a year ago that I was blessed,
When I could hold your hand, or kiss your lips,
Although not in the least could I have guessed,
So soon the moment from memory slips;
Oh how the world became just you and me,
That webs suspend, as spun on whims and dreams,
Enthralled by hope that hearts can beat so free,
Or by passion, pursued to the extremes;
Grape juice, when left in kegs, would age to wine,
But rose could lose its blooms without due care,
And so, how must this love behave in line,
How best does rose or wine to love compare?
……It now escapes me, was it last or prime?
….But no matter, love measures not in time.

Love Sonnet 61 (I dream to kiss your smile and hold your sight,)
I dream to kiss your smile and hold your sight,
Neglect the night in favor of your touch,
Forsake the world, to make this feeling right,
And wonder between sighs why love is such;
Like one held in cocoon of silken walls,
Naive to know what goes since then and now,
Confused by blase changes Time installs,
Yet lauds such silks, that still are walls, somehow;
But vows are real as mountains looming grand,
Alive and deep as wild seas riding high,
The heart might shrink, wanting to hold its stand,
Whereby embattled spirits often die;
......Forgive my soul, or else this weakling be,
......To lose its goal, and all along the way.

Love Sonnet 145 When Gloom Abides With Me Tenaciously
When gloom abides with me tenaciously,
To sap my mirth off lame delights you left,
I hang on threads, dangling precariously,
Loveless, and now, even of hope, bereft:
How could you have chastised with so much stripes,
And walk me gallows, towards the noose?
There seems no antidote, my poor heart gripes,
To venom of the sting, you made me choose:
I'll wait, counting down days of black and gray,
Though hours will last longer, until you're back,
And time might freeze, to further the delay,
But come, put back my awry world on track:
.......For only when you do, will sorrows fly,
.......And once again, rainbows will fill my eye.

Love Sonnet 31 Red rose for my love, the best heaven owns,
Red rose for my love, the best heaven owns,
The fairest Earth could bloom beneath the skies,
As tucked upon her hair instead of crowns,
Bestows well what the lack of crowns denies;
That wisp of cloudiness above her head,
Heralds the sudden souring of the day,
Yet, does not damp the warmth her smiles have spread,
Though crickets chirp thinking that night would lay;
Her sighs could drown this soft cacophony,
As ear discerns better the whispered word,
Within my heart she plays a symphony,
And those who love must have known every chord;
….My love, timely toast of the morning dew,
….Quite enough reason why red roses grew.

Love Sonnet 65: My Love, Life Is A Jest, And Strange Enough
My love, life is a jest, and strange enough,
Of all its ironies, choose the kindest,
And know when to confide, or when to bluff,
Of all its murmurs, choose which shouts, loudest;
Love is bee, flaunting nectar it has scoured,
With proboscis for honey to entrain,
But at the other end, when love has soured,
Is sting, that leaves behind very much pain;
But love of mine is pure, as you will find,
No more simple or hard for you to think,
If all my thoughts lend to corrupt your mind,
Like Socrates, I must of hemlock drink;
……Think not these things as bait that hides the hook,
……For all is square, and all done by the book.

Why
Why are people plenty when you want privacy
Why has everyone gone when you need company
Why are you punished after doing nothing wrong
Why are there rewards for the not-so-worthy throng?
Why, the rich, though rich as they are, wealth on them rained
Why should you lose yet the last dropp of what remained
Why should you plod mountains, while they till fertile plains
Why should the weeds get the same raindrops as the grains
Why should the wicked flourish as well as the good
Why had the wolves been there, near to where the lambs stood?
Why should you lose the people you have loved so dear
Why could you not dispose those you cannot bear?

Love Sonnet 144 With All The Wickedness Roaming The Earth
With all the wickedness, roaming the earth,
To fill the good spots, it's a waste of Hell,
Evil of all vintage, the good's in dearth,
Paradise despoiled, soundly, it then fell.
I might, my soul, enclose in bins so tight,
With cherubim to guard, on lock and key,
Until salvation comes, and all's in light,
When hearts of men, are neither black nor gray.
But you, my dear, I've got to see outside,
For love that's always pure and truly grand,
Beware of serpents that the tree would hide,
Refuse all apples which may fill your hand:
.......Love will often seek what it hopes to find,
......And find in hope, what it has sought, when blind.
