Sprung!
Listen Dear, you caught me,
In a compromising pose.
I thought you'd be gone for longer
When a needy thought arose.
I promise to be more careful,
With the lock upon the door.
I will certainly listen closely,
For footsteps on the floor.
It's not all me, I might add,
For you could keep offence at bay,
By knocking when my door is closed,
Coz I'm reading 50 Shades of Grey!

Never
I know now...I will never reach
The full potential,
Of what love had intended for me.
He is gone.
He never will.
He never was.
Never to hold my hand.
Never to know my lips.
Never to smell morning on my skin.
Never to graze my earlobe with his teeth.
Never to know what that does to me.
And I am never to know
If he could have loved me back.
I imagine he would have.

Over the Rainbow Bridge
'You don't bring me flowers'
Is the song in all my showers
The loneliness is all
Washed down the drain.
I rinse the tears away
And with salty disarray
They are diluted
But they leave behind the pain.
I miss your smiling face
Your frenetic friendly pace
And your happiness at all I said and did.
My furry little friend
Never to be seen again
I will miss your little 'wheek wheek' Guinea Pig.

One
He calls her, again
To test what he
Can make her do.
Again, she jumps.
She knows he feels from
A different page
She is on love....he is on want.
As always, the awful difference is felt
Through the misgivings
Of the giver,
Not the taker.
She doesn't care!
Why does she keep giving herself up
Like a slow seal to a white pointer?
Soon, he will be done with her
And there will be nothing left,
For her 'One'

La Persisto
Your life is in such a brief instant
Why reign over barren land?
Abdicate, meditate, plant a seed,
Kick up dust as you take a stand.
Standing in fear gets you nowhere,
Let curiousity take the lead
At least you will keep moving forward
And arrive where you're destined to be
So stand and laugh out for your birthright
Begin the trek, no fear of dying
Your comfort zone left far behind you
And a heart that says Never Stop Trying

This Is Fantasia
His eyes run up,
Her pink stockinged thigh,
She squeals with joy!
He can hear her.
Flamboyance and height,
In a pink glitter wig,
He knows a few that see her,
Would fear her.
He feels sadness,
Rise up in his heart and mind,
As injustice and violence
Grow near her.
Her manicured nails,
Her glossy lips,
No longer serve,
To endear her.
'Set her free! ' he thinks,
'I'm not scared anymore! '
And he turns away
From the mirror.

Adored in Somnolence
He curls up behind her
His every curve
Melting into her own.
The setting sun
Reflects from the lake
And dances across the ceiling
Like the aurora borealis
And they watch the display
In sleepy silence.
The temperature slowly drops.
He pulls the cover higher
On her.
For the first time in her life,
She feels safe.
His hand cups her breast,
As she drifts to dreaming,
With a tiny smile on her face.
He kisses her hair
And follows her.
Goodnight.

Soul Mate In Slumber
How often in my existence
I did dream of you!
No face a label
To name you by,
Yet still my sweet companion,
My soul mate in slumber.
I knew you in those dreams,
Your heart full of hope,
Your hero soul
Reaching skywards.
You looked after me
And gently showed me
The way to you.
And so our souls connected
So very long before
Our eyes did.
You are my destiny.
My faith, my joy is
An eternal declaration
To the love I have for you.

Tristesse dans la solitude
I will not lie down before you,
Without a care for who I am.
I am not for the highest bidder
To take for a tinker's damn.
It's clear I have a broken heart
My worth not taken by love
But I'll always abide by a strong lady's creed
To stand and rise above.
Loneliness won't kill me
Nor will a lovers glare
My worth not defined by a valentine
But..... I'll fade and there's not one to care.
I'm alone and there's nobody coming
To kiss me or hold my hands
I can feel the heart in me harden
To prepare for the cold barren lands

Call Me
It's him!
She picks up.
The deep timbre
Of his voice
Reaches down the line
And thrums through her centre.
A vibration so sweet
And so deliciously low
That she melts to liquid.
Can he tell
She is all pounding of heart
And weak of stance just
At the sound of his voice?
Does he know what she would do to him?
If only he would ask!
She wraps herself in the sound of him instead.
Then the dreaded moment.
He has to go.
