lifetimes spent filling empty spaces
lifetimes spent desiring other places
people could spend a lifetime in this
world studying learning doing or not
belonging or not as you choose most
people cannot most need to conform
but you can and will define yourself
herd mentality conformity denies self

Achilles took the slain body of proud Prince Hector
slit holes through warrior corpse ankles and proceeded
to drag Hector’s defeated slain body behind his chariot
an ignoble act of revenge bitterness hate anger contempt
Achilles killed proud Hector with a single spear thrust
Achilles refused to eat mourns on Olympian ambrosia

fly by death from sky predators
from biplanes to bombers jets;
rockets atomic to smart bombs drones
soon to be controlled by hand phones;
a new fashion emerged during Vietnam war conflicts

once uninformed masses
believed the earth was flat
during medieval dark ages
yet esteemed ancient Greeks
knew earth was really a sphere
calculated degree of horizons
now sol is a singular star believe masses
yet over 80% of all solar systems
according to NASA have multiple suns
bright stellar fires of smaller suns
some not much bigger than Jupiter
most common suns brown dwarfs

place lived in could be
a harsh barren dessert
where sudden sand storm
can strip our life to bone
God hides great serene
beauty in strange places
to teach hope in inspired
miracles of transformation
there is incredible serene beauty written...
