Time~
Time waits for no one
Tick tocking itself along
Even measured seconds
Morphing into minutes
Minutes into hours
Into days, months
And, yes years;
Where did it all?
Down the drain?
Much like the water
Draining in the sink...
This sink that we call life
This sink that once held it all...
The sink, my sink, once full now empty
Down the drain
Kind of like my life;

Heaven's New Day
Cotten candy vanilla fluff
Intermixed with a slate gray
Motion capture ethereal delight
Are the heavens upon this
Easter Day
Wistful breaks of baby blue
Mix and mingle intertwined
Cascading feathery downy wisps
Move gently in breeze motion time
And in the distant horizon
The mauve and pale pink display
Shows a full tapestry of
God's Most Ethereal Eastertide day!

Left Over
I am like the left over stew
You know-from the day before?
My flavor has become deeper
But who really wants more?
Think about that question
Peruse your overwhelming appetite
Chew on all of your choices
'Out of mind-when out of sight? '
Put back in the refrigerator
After a five day chill-i shout
Would you even hear my screams?
Or turn a deaf ear-and throw me out?

Bar Butterfly
As if to dare fate...
Possibly courting disaster...
i paint the town RED;
Enebriated by the--
Flashing eyes of strangers--
i havn't yet met--
i ask for another round--
Of the same;
Sitting on my bar stool--
Of desire...
Legs dangling in temptation...
i size up the quarry--
Through a smoke-hazed room of 'Questionable';
Never allowing myself--
One thought of yesterday...
Or you;

Mrs. Browne and Me
Mrs. Browne traveled roads
Passed upon by me
Inviting into nature
The butterfly and bee
She walked e'er so gently
Down in the vale
Listening to the melodies
Of the sweet Nighingale
Mrs. Browne held out her hands
And welcomed in the sun
In the valley mist
Where pollination 'tis done
Hark can't you hear the buzz
Of the bumble bee?
Mrs. Browne and i
Are in very good company

Snared
I watched your coy brown eyes ogle...
They lingered at the bar-
A Lady dressed to high heaven-
Was flashing her blue eyes like stars;
You were totally taken in...
As if in some sort of trance-
She had you at your first glance-
Born: 'A cakewalk to romance';
Her long legs were so inviting...
Her smile ravished your mind...
A tall drink of Scotch dressed in red-
Roped you in with ties that forever bind;

DownFall
It was that equation of wild love--
That was the beginning of our end;
Undone and spiriling...
In coils of antiscipation;
Where anxiety hitches a ride--
And congruity has taken its leave;
Senses of 'common' disappear...
Lost behind remanants of stoic...
Making difficult the choices--
That fly over our heads landing field...
And disappear into this abyss...
That you call life;

Beginnings
I found you
Right before
My very eyes
And i wasn't looking;
Like a bolt out of
The blue
Lagoon reflecting
Through still waters
That run deep
Like baby blue skies selecting
Are your magnetic eyes
That have frozen
Me into a misty blue velvet trance
A spellbound glance
Enticed by you
Out of the blue
Borne to be ever true
Me and you and our misty blue romance

Partial Amnesia
Kissing you last night...
All that i remember--
Is the yellow and red
Of our passionate embrace;
Your voracious mouth--
That could not be sated-
Your absolute unending hunger;
The strange tingling...
Down the side of my neck--;
The built up rush of--
Blood in my hips...
Sky-rocketing in delight...
A mid-summers night--
And your arms-
Yes-your arms--
Reaching for me...
Once again;

~...In Days Of Yore~
A different sort of glimmer
'Tis shed in Spring time days
Along the red rose gardened path
Where youth and love once stayed
The Light shed 'twas much brighter
The air fresh with a rose kissed mist
The arms of my cherished lover
Brought us together with eternal kiss
But those days they are gone forever
Aging dreams of a rose coloured lane
When my youth took me to higher altitudes
And kept at bay any shred of pain
