Golden Sails

As limited as time
so too- is my love for you;
Caresses of your neck
Fill up my once empty heart;
Starved for your eyes
The twinkle from them sates me;
At peace in your arms
Is like coming home;
Life could not be-
Any sweeter...
Any more fulfilling...
Than it is right now-
In this very moement;
As limitless as the sky...
As bountiful as the sea...
Won't you come sail away with me?

Pledge

Heaven finds me smiling--
All dischord erased-
A kiss placed deliberately...
Upon your sweet-sweet face;

Loving memories to make--
In the noon days to come...
Exhilarating togetherness-
Under Spring Time Sun;

Oh so gloriously happy...
All anger it has passed--
Kissed and made up...
Formed-a love to last;

Casting out all doubt...
And green monster jealousy--
You and i-touching the sky...
Together for eternity;

The Dare

In the cold of morn
Silence snuggles up close
Stillness refuels itself
And emptiness takes the wheel

Minding the wild curves?
Of lesser roads taken...
Riding the curbs of human natures handiwork?
One split second away...!
From a disaster?
Playing russian roulette...
Behind oh so long held breaths...
Alas, turning blue waiting for you...
Remembering what you said...
'I'll be seeing you'
But don't hold your breath;

Casualties

Vigilance once tempered in solitude--
Brazen honed in strife--
Casualties of demonic spawns---
Slice bitter with the knife;

Courting most bitter favor...
In twilights very last hurrah...
Glimpses of the dusks arrival-
With open wounds that are raw;

Salt is poured in liberally...
As the blood flows ever free...
Consequences of impending death...
Shall echo throughout all eternity!

Shattered

It was in the virgin snow
Of many a winter's past
Where memory grew some wings
It was in the form of Snow Angels**
And the winter airs crisp sting
It was a total recall of sorts
Of a broken friendships shards
It cut like glass, as it came to pass
But the snow still covers the yard
It never melted from an apology
As none ever came to pass
And so the snow remains
Along with the pain
And the shards are still sharp as glass

September

Bedraggled scarecrows cry in the wind
While Blackbirds caw to the trees
As if, voices from the once green wood
While the dead leaves blow free;
Rustles of burnished remnants dance
In visions the gold dying leaf
A pause and wait but never late
As Fall carries in her grief;
Relentless winds of change court September
Descending now-a lifetime of Fall
Season's change make no excuses
For September has, indeed, come to call;

Mourning Tide

Too many years spent upon this pier of life...
My naked feet dangling
Barely touching the sea's water;
Way too much salted air in my lungs to breathe
And Neptune just keeps on calling;
Fathomless feeling's are growing dim
As the absence of your sunlight obscures;
Far too many storms fought upon harsher waters...
Loosing hope in all that matters;
Davy Jones locker is somber this day
As time cries on
And destiny follows;

August Leading...

The shadows were closing in...
But then, came mention, from a good friend
...Caressed by the summer sun,
Taken in, by the nights that you send!

Where is it that you are taking me?
...The screen has decreed our Zen,
I shall not fight our fated day-
...But, I shall ask you, when?

So hypnotized and in a trance-
...mesmerized for all to see,
Your magic Spell, has done very well...
But where is it, that your leading me?

Calla Lily

I remember The Calla Lily
The Field full to running over
And my most beloved
Running without a care
With a most magestic Roe
His breath was that of sweet wine
A bouquet that only Saints could smell
His Armor was of molten gold
Laid heavy upon his chest
Oh and the Calla Lily
I can still smell them so sweet
In the later air
In the time
Of my Prime
They were just everywhere

Lavender Days

Lavender inspiration guides me...
Through orchards and vineyards grown
Revitalizing my inner essence
Blessing the Lavender-Blue sown;
In my minds eyes i oft' meditate-
'Tis Lavender Fields now or never...
Transporting me into Vales O' Bliss
Leading me into my Lavender Forever;
O' mighty Spirit O' Nature...
Strengthen me with your sweet power--
Free me in your fields O' Blue and Purple...
Shelter me in your Emerald Bower;
