Alias's And Other Things That Don't Have Wings
Such Lofty ideas...how they permeate
You want me at your every Beck and call
From FairPort to Walworth New York...
Tell you...That takes some gall;
Maybe you would have made a better neighbor
Rather than that next door Pine...
Just know you are as an upholstered chair
All Spanish in design;
What did you think i was stupid?
For up in that Loft i'd stay?
No longer at your Beck and call...
For i am headed out California way;

Omens...?
Beauty was her calling card-once
A sacrificial lamb of peace-
Alas, she burned her life-as a candle
In days of pain without cease;
Her hopeless world of-make-believe
Where inner perfection struggled to grow
A nuance of yet another shade-fading
Took away her effluent Fire-fly glow;
Near the honey suckles the tambourines played
A most disquieting melody
For the morning trespassed upon her world
Boding her happiness-never to be;

Trainwreck
...Diligence it served me well?
Shadow waiting tenaciously 'neath your veil
Grasping at straws of needful answers
...Your train-about to derail
..Along the tracks of our yesterdays
Your footprints impression me deep
...A trainwreck of careless happenstance
But-the memories i must keep
...I am needing so much more
The answers to this enigmas's scheme
...Awaiting am i-so very near by
Your reasons for yesterdays miserable scene

Never Late
The Spring sky beckons
Through clatter of hailstones spent
Thunderstorms are extensions of Heaven
Quenching the Earth-God's raindrops spent;
'Tis said that April showers are necessary
Alive in Springtimes hours...
Paving the way for Rainbows Arch
And the first bud of May flowers;
The clouds in clever syllables fade
As raindrops in a caravan disipate
Bountiful in design-this Garden O' mine
Arrival of Mays blossoms-never late! ;

Devastation
The swollen river raged
To well over its banks
Swallowing up shoulders
Of Grass
In the late afternoon
Of yesterday
When the sullen skies
Wept a torrent of rain
And the Earth trembled
In near panic
Enduring the strength
Of the winds unforgiving
Gales
Recoiling from the
Infinite thunder
Totally shaken from
The spirals of lightening
And ever so desperate
Trying to adapt to:
The Tempest that is you

Lap Of Luxury
This day i lounge in luxury-
As i pull stars from the sky...
Such amazing sparkling gemstones-
Rasie the passion in my green eyes;
I laze on cushions of white fluff...
From the clouds that dance over my head-
Comfort days-that truly amaze-
With down feathers for my bed;
O such grand luxury has blessed me...
Warmed in my cozy cottage of hay...
Splendour and tranquil moments-abound-
Colours of serenity are, indeed, mine this day;

Gypsey Eyes
It was the eyes that drew me in
Slinking 'round in every direction
Dark as the deepest midnight
Shifting by self-imposed selection
It was the bracelets and eyes together
Clanking bangles and dark brown surprise
Feather boa's and eyes that offerd no alibi's
Dangling rings from the ears of the skies
It was the seduction of one
By a vagabond thief in disguise
She was all: feathers, bangles and fluff
With the most incredible Gypsey Eyes

Influences
My eyes now behold larger vista's
From potted plant to the wild flower
I am a trembling galaxy of For-Get-Me-Nots
That bloom incessantly-hour after hour
I am a fully realized Soul
In this World i am utterly at home
Embracing a Universal Oneness
But more importantly-Never alone
My Spirit transcends all petty concerns
Of many the ordinary kind
Resting securely under a brillant nebulae
While in deep thought-Walt Whitman comes to mind

At One
Distant lands
Called to me
Beckoning
My presence
With Earthly
Persuasions
A come hither
Breeze played
Rhytmically
Across my
Heart
Without reason
A gentle knowing
Advised me
An inner voice
Perceived
Moved me
Instinctfully
Onward
Driving forces

Blue and You
It was Panama
And blue butterflies
Significant as Blue Velvet
Blue as the sea's surrounding it
Blue as your eye's
With glimmer's of surprise
Dancing with your smile
Near to Panama's quarter mile
You could have won me over
I was vunerable
And open
Empty arms
Just waiting
Your charms
Mixed signals
Sent
Too much time
Spent
Wondering?
Flirtation or imagination?
