Les Tulips
It was a dance for two
Call it a Floral Ballet afar
A vertible blossoming pas de deux
Beautiful as 'Les Tulips' By Renoir
Oh, the colurs were so vibrant
A dance of pastel stroked measures
A French trifled daliance of lovers
A bountiful safe of artistic treasures

a Painting
the dregs of night folded
as stars twinkled 'cross the northern sky
welcoming a canopy of brillant gems
t'was an unbrella of planets upon high
the heavens are ever so breathtaking
filling ones spirit full of awe
much as a masterpiece painted
of our galaxy without one single flaw

Lies-The Big Picture
The Writing is on the Wall
......Hanging from a Nail
......Solitary-Perfunctory
......A Reminder-A Call
.......Looming
......Casting Aspersions
......Revealing
.......Instead of Healing
......Long before its Fall
......The New Reality of it All
The Essence

Here Today
Our ride
Through life
Is short
At best
Choices made
Do count
Moments lived
Savored
Memories made
Golden
Embraced in
The gilded
Frames of time
Honored vestiges
Of Era's of
Yesterday
And today
That are too
Soon gone
Reflections play

Morning Song
It is not the morning come too soon
...For the sands in the hourgalss fall too fast...
An hour, at least 'tis left my love
...So what shall we do 'til dawn has cast?
Perhaps lift the veil once again?
...Sample the fruit just one more time?
And then serenly bask in the aferglow, 'til then?

Remembering Marilyn
Some Liked It Hot
On the set
With Marilyn;
Her sultry
Heavy-lidded eyes
Radiating
Come hither looks;
Her breathless
Whisper of a voice
Still resonates
Yesterdays
Echos in
Madison Square Gardens:
'Happy Birthday Mr. President'
It was to be
Her last song;

I Dont Miss You Much
I don't miss you much
Even though
I still cry
At the sound
Of your name
Still get butterflies
When i remember your smile
Still feel empty
When i look out the window
At all of the people
And still think
I see you
In everyones face

Now And Then
It's a sweet mystery of life...
How you decrease the distance
Between two points
By swallowing my smiles
Devouring my words
Sparking endorphins
Coaxing bits of sensuality
Out of thin air
Then handing them to me
With love
Suddenly
Life tastes sweeter...

Delight...
It was a Summer of laughter
Of wooded fragrance
Of the oceans deepest blue
And the shorelines pure alabaster
Mingled in reveries of sweet joy and you
And as destiny would have it
What seemed like a lifetime, of love,
Unlike we two ever knew!

Thine Handsome Face
Before i knew thine handsome face
Ignorant i'd been in the dark
Trembling finger tips caressed my weary brow
Leaving a golden embellished mark
For then what 'tis it- The firmament has?
That cannot be found within your Soul?
Into the Light of your pure handsomeness i am
And out i am from this abyss-like hole!
